My makeup really stays put now! I used to worry about my makeup sliding off after just 3 hours in this hot weather, but with this fixer, I don't need to touch up at all before getting home. I regret all the time I lived without this fixer... I researched reviews and comparisons on YouTube and chose this product for its superior setting power, and I'm absolutely thrilled with it! If I accidentally touch my face while doing eye makeup, it feels like the fixer actually makes the makeup smudge more. Because of the fixer's coating effect, it's also a bit tricky to remove and reapply makeup in specific areas without creating visible edges. That aspect is slightly inconvenient. - mk******Normal SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 28, 2024
1. Price While the regular price isn't particularly cheap, you can find sites offering it at a discount, making it feel quite cost-effective. 2. Application I liked that it doesn't feel heavy or drying when applied. Although I'm not particularly sensitive to ingredients, I didn't experience any blemishes during the two months I used it. When it fades, it seems to do so prettily and cleanly. The spray is similar to a fine mist, so those who care about application method will likely be quite satisfied. 3. Setting power Since it doesn't mattify or eliminate skin's natural glow, makeup settles naturally. Overall longevity is improved, and as mentioned, it fades nicely, making it a solid choice for everyday use. 1. Spray power While it is a fine mist, the spray duration isn't as long as a gas spray. You need to press the nozzle multiple times, which makes the spray power advantage less noticeable. It made me wonder how different it is from using a regular spray bottle multiple times. 2. Setting power I'm not sure if the setting power is exceptional. It was satisfactory in spring and winter when I don't sweat much. I haven't tried it in summer, so I can't speak to that... If you're expecting it to hold up in places like swimming pools, you might go in with full makeup and come out bare-faced (speaking from experience). Due to personal item restrictions, I relied on this fixer for my daily, non-waterproof makeup, reapplying it periodically. An hour's effort disappeared in just 30 minutes. You can increase longevity by spraying it intermittently throughout your makeup application! - j_****Oily SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 30, 2023
I love this as a natural-looking setting spray! In summer, when you layer too much sunscreen, primer, foundation, and setting spray, it can mix with your skin's oils and create a bumpy texture that makes your makeup look messy. But this setting spray keeps things looking fresh without feeling heavy on the face. It sets makeup just enough to allow for a beautiful, gradual fade throughout the day. I find the hold is perfect when used with a primer. The best part is there's no sticky feeling after spraying! I usually only spray twice and don't pat it in with a puff. The ingredients are good, and it even has a refreshing, cooling sensation like a face mist. If you dislike that heavy feeling on your skin and prefer a bit of staying power with a natural, pretty fade, I highly recommend this! The spray isn't as fine a mist as an aerosol type. - lm*******Dehydrated SkinEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 20, 2023
I've tried about 3 different fixers, but this one made me realize what a true fixer is! After seeing a famous YouTuber compare mist fixers to regular ones, I decided to give this a try, and it's amazing! It made me realize that not everything popular is necessarily the best. The design is beautiful too - I think I would have regretted not buying it. I was hesitant about getting a fixer since I've only used non-fixing products before, but I'm so glad I bought this one! Pros: 1. Scent: Absolutely wonderful! I'm not particularly sensitive to fragrances, but this might have the best scent among all my cosmetics! 2. Staying power: I'd say it's above average. I've tried the famous So Natural matte fixer and the pink bottle one, but those were almost like mists... Compared to those, this one has really good staying power. There's a slight transfer to masks, but it's not excessive. I was shocked to see my makeup intact even after a nap! 3. Spray quality: Not a single droplet formed - it was a perfect mist spray! The spray seems to be even better than So Natural products. This is just my personal experience, but it was recommended as matte, and I don't suit dewy skin. After spraying, it gave my skin more of a glow than I expected. So I apply powder after the fixing time. Also, while the staying power is good, there can be a bit of transfer. Before using, press the nozzle all the way down once, and you'll definitely avoid any droplet formation! When using, hold it about 30 cm away from your face and press all the way down to spray. I personally divide it into 4 sprays: forehead, both sides, and center of the face! - il****Normal SkinRecommendedNov 21, 2022
I love how it adheres lightly to the skin with its fine mist spray. It doesn't feel sticky or greasy, but gives a subtle hydrated glow, and the scent is quite pleasant too. Whenever my skin feels dry, I spritz it on and it's like getting a moisture boost, similar to using a face mist. Personally, I find its makeup setting power to be slightly lacking. - th*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 18, 2022
I love how moisturizing it is! Intuitively, when I spray it on after applying makeup, I feel like it really boosts the staying power... haha! There's not really anything to complain about. The packaging is pretty, and I'm quite satisfied with it! - zx****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 22, 2022
1. For a setting spray, the ingredients are relatively decent. 2. It provides good hydration. 3. I must admit, the packaging is quite attractive. As a setting spray, it fails to perform its primary function... However, when it does break down, it seems to do so gracefully (at least for dry skin types). - je*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJul 29, 2022
Spray performance: This was my first experience with a makeup fixer, and while it wasn't an intense misty spray, it didn't come out like a squirt bottle either. It dispersed evenly! Occasionally, some larger droplets would come out, but they never interfered with my makeup! Staying power: I applied it after my base and after my full makeup, and it definitely seemed to set everything in place. It created a kind of film on top that prevented my makeup from transferring heavily onto my mask, unless I was sweating profusely through the pores. I'm not sure about its brightening effects! I also can't really tell if it's hydrating. It just seems like an average product to me! - go******Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsMay 30, 2022
Spritz it generously on your makeup sponge before applying foundation - it gives a much better skin finish than using water! The staying power isn't great, unfortunately. It feels more like a mist than a setting spray. - k_******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 23, 2022
I bought this setting spray because some other products had warnings against long-term use, which scared me. After carefully reading the precautions and doing extensive research, I chose this one and have been using it for over a year now. For my oily skin that tends to break down makeup easily, there's a noticeable difference in staying power with and without this product! While it's my first setting spray so I can't compare its strength to others, it's clearly better than just wearing foundation alone. (My makeup lasts 7+ hours, even with a mask on, without needing touch-ups except for lips) Even with my blemish-prone skin, this product doesn't exacerbate any issues. I love that it doesn't feel like a suffocating coating on my skin! The mist sprays evenly in a fine fog, which is great for even application. Personally, I find the scent a bit strong. Don't expect it to give you a dewy glow - it might actually make your skin feel slightly drier. On days when your makeup absolutely can't budge, try this trick: after finishing your makeup, spray once and let it dry, then spray again after a short while. This really boosts the staying power. For my skin type, applying foundation with a puff sprayed with this product doesn't work well (just FYI). It's best to spray after completing your makeup. Experiment to find what works best for your skin!
