Pros
Just applying the toner and emulsion provides a light but effective hydration boost
Cons
Due to its lightweight nature, you definitely need to layer a moisturizer on top. Use about the same amount as the emulsion

Pros
The scent is like the natural smell of the ingredients. It's not noticeable once absorbed. When applying, it feels like a cream, but it absorbs well, making it a great emulsion for lightly hydrating the skin before the cream step!
Cons
There are no downsides. I tried the sample first and liked it so much that I'm planning to purchase the full-size product.
Tip
For those with deep dryness, it's beneficial to apply this emulsion after your hydrating serum and before your moisturizer

Pros
I absolutely loved how gentle it was on my skin. It's so lightweight, making it perfect for daily use - though I went through it pretty quickly! The hydration level is just right, and it absorbs like a dream. I didn't notice any excessive shine, and it wasn't sticky at all. The scent is very subtle, almost unscented, which I appreciate. The pump packaging made it super convenient to use.
Cons
The moisturizing power seemed a bit weak, as I kept feeling like my skin was drying out. I ended up having to reapply it a couple of times throughout the day.

Pros
I love you.. A wonderfully hydrating emulsion perfect for all seasons except winter. It really helped combat my deep dryness. You could probably use it lightly like an essence even in winter. It pairs well with other functional products, but those with dry skin might need to layer something on top.
Cons
The price...? But I still love you, even if the amount is a bit small.. I'm satisfied using it at night before bed.

Pros
This product is a truly grateful friend that helped heal my skin inflammation. I had tried the cream version first, but as someone with oily skin, it felt too heavy. So I bought the emulsion, and I'm glad I did - it applies smoothly and feels much lighter than the cream. When you glide it on, there's a cool sensation, and I absolutely love the unique scent of this emulsion. It always lifts my mood after application! What's especially great is that it has a secure cap, making it perfect for travel or overnight stays. As someone who's picky about skincare and always carries my own products, I appreciate that it doesn't leak and is easy to transport.
Cons
Like all pump bottles, I found it a bit inconvenient when there was still about a third of the product left. At that point, it became difficult to pump out the remaining emulsion.
Tip
Control the amount you use carefully! Also, personally, I'd recommend this as a winter emulsion for those with oily skin.

- Light texture but provides excellent hydration. - No irritation at all and doesn't pill even when applied generously. - Noticeable cooling effect. - Doesn't sit on the surface or feel sticky.
Cons
- The scent might be polarizing, it's a difficult fragrance to describe...

Pros
As someone with slightly sensitive dry skin, I was excited to try this product since other Real Barrier items have been so gentle on my skin. Compared to their cream, this is definitely lighter but doesn't leave my skin feeling parched, making it perfect for morning use! While it might not provide enough hydration for dry skin at night, it's ideal for daytime. It's not so heavy that it causes pilling with makeup, nor is it so light that it leaves my skin feeling tight and dry. It doesn't give that ultra-moisturizing feeling some products boast about, but rather provides a nice base layer. I found that even when I only applied the emulsion before makeup, my skin still absorbed the products well!
Cons
I honestly can't think of any downsides! I believe this product is gentle enough even for those with super sensitive skin.

Pros
For those with combination skin, this lightweight hydrating emulsion should work well from early summer through fall. I personally love the scent of enzyme-based skincare products, and this one has a subtle fragrance in that category. I find it very pleasant.
Cons
In winter, late autumn, and early spring, it's not quite enough on its own due to the dry weather.

Pros
As someone who went through over 5 tubes of Real Barrier Extreme Cream during winter, I decided to buy this for spring, thinking it would be better than a heavy formula. It's lightweight and nice. It'll probably be great for summer use. However, for spring, applying just one layer might leave your skin dry, so it's better to layer it multiple times for hydration or use a serum before applying this moisturizer.
Cons
It's disappointing that you can't see the contents inside. It's difficult to check how much product is left, which I'd like to be able to do.
Tip
It also works excellently as a body moisturizer.
