It's convenient and doesn't sting even if it gets in your eyes. While it might not be super effective at removing excess sebum, it seems to help refine skin texture. It doesn't give that squeaky-clean feeling and doesn't lather well. It's not great at removing excess oil - just average overall. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 11, 2024
I found the cleansing effectiveness to be sufficient with my double cleansing routine. The texture is like a thin liquid that absorbs smoothly when massaged into the skin. Perhaps because of this, it seems to run out a bit quickly. _______________ I'm updating my rating from 3 to 4 stars because I confirmed that it removes Etude House mascara well even without double cleansing, so I think the cleansing oil function is good. I didn't see much effect on removing blackheads. The residual feeling after cleansing is too slippery, which is disappointing. For the second cleanse, I can't use a mild acidic foam cleanser and need to use a more thorough foaming cleanser instead. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 3, 2023
It's not too heavy, so I'm using it comfortably. While they say just rolling it on your face and rinsing with water is enough, I find that double cleansing with a foam cleanser leaves me feeling truly refreshed. After rinsing with water, there's a slippery feeling left on the skin. I feel more at ease doing a double cleanse to ensure I don't get any blemishes. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJun 8, 2023
I'm excited to try this product that claims to suck out sebum! I already have a cleansing oil, but with summer approaching, I'm really interested in something that can control oil. I got it at a great event price too! This cleansing oil doesn't leave that squeaky-clean feeling some might expect. If you prefer a fresher finish, you might want to follow up with a second cleanse. Use the cleansing oil on a dry face with dry hands, then add a little water to emulsify. Be gentle when massaging to avoid irritation. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 27, 2023
It feels silky smooth. It doesn't have that squeaky clean feeling, which I'm not sure if it means it's cleaning well, but it's so slippery that it leaves my skin feeling moisturized. It doesn't have that squeaky clean feeling, so I'm not sure if it's actually cleansing well. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 23, 2022
* Forehead has small bumps and blemishes, a few large pimples on cheeks, and quite a few blackheads on nose - Good ingredients: No particularly problematic components, so it doesn't cause more acne or blemishes, but doesn't improve them either. Stays exactly the same - Effective on whiteheads: Slight improvement in small bumps on cheeks and forehead. Noticeable only to oneself - Not very effective on blackheads: Used daily for a week, but no different from other cleansing oils. Blackheads don't come out as much as expected - Takes time to emulsify: Need to massage for 1-2 minutes with slightly warm water to see it turning white and sebum coming out - Slippery feeling: Usually rinse about 15 times with water, but it's quite slippery so it's hard to tell if it's washing off properly. If you want a squeaky clean feeling, a second cleanse is absolutely necessary * An average product, not particularly recommended - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 14, 2022
■ Texture: It has a bit more density than a watery consistency. Overall, it's lightweight and refreshing with a subtle aromatic herbal scent wafting through. ■ Cleansing effectiveness: It removes everything from base makeup to color cosmetics really well! Even with a full eye makeup look, there was hardly any residue left behind :) ■ Blackhead/sebum removal: On dry skin, pump enough oil and gently roll for about 3 minutes. You'll see hardened sebum plugs and dead skin cells coming out! It was quite effective on blackheads too! ■ Emulsification: It emulsifies exceptionally well. Even with just a small amount of water, you can feel the oil turning opaque as it emulsifies :) 💚 Standout features 💚 1) Cleanses both base and color makeup thoroughly and refreshingly! 2) Gently dissolves everything from blackheads to sebum! 3) The lightweight texture makes it easy to use without feeling heavy! 4) 8 naturally derived oils leave your skin feeling clean and hydrated! 5) It's a certified vegan product! 6) Made using recycled plastic (PCR PET), making it eco-friendly! The herbal scent is quite strong. It might be a love-it-or-hate-it kind of fragrance. After rinsing, the skin feels less squeaky clean, with a slight slippery feeling. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 22, 2022
I have dry skin that lacks hydration! First off, although it's an oil, it's an incredibly lightweight type. It's moisturizing without feeling heavy, making it perfect for summer use! Even after cleansing, my skin doesn't feel tight and remains quite hydrated. I'm a fan of shimmery makeup, and this removes glittery eyeshadow well too! There's no eye irritation, and its cleansing effectiveness is pretty good. As it's from a vegan company, the packaging is made of PCR PET. It claims to remove sebum, but honestly, I don't really feel like it's removing sebum or clearing out blackheads... It seems to just fulfill its role as a cleansing oil. As my skin type is dry, it felt moisturizing to me, but those with oily skin might not get that squeaky-clean feeling. Also, the scent... I think it might be quite polarizing. The formula has a runny consistency, so I recommend either dispensing it into your hands and rubbing them together before applying, or pumping it directly onto your face!
