I've used about a third of it. I originally used the Numbers 1 toner, but I was so frustrated with my skin flaring up and not recovering right before my period, so I bought this. I'm using it with the Sidmool Houttuynia Cordata soap, and they work amazingly well together. First off, the good point is that if I have a pimple that looks like it's about to become a big one, I just soak a cotton pad with this toner and leave it on overnight, and by the next day, it's significantly reduced. Also, when I feel like I'm about to get blemishes on my chest or back, I wash with the Houttuynia Cordata soap and use this as an exfoliating toner - it works like magic! The smell... After using this, my room smells like herbal medicine or herbs. I'm continuing to use it, thinking that if it smells like this, it can't be bad for my skin... - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 13, 2022
Great product for blemish-prone skin - I ordered this product after hearing that the houttuynia cordata ingredient is beneficial for improving blemishes and inflammation. It definitely seems to have a calming effect when my skin becomes sensitive and prone to blemishes, especially during my menstrual cycle. When my skin is acting up, I soak a cotton pad generously and apply it like a mask. Since it has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, which are said to be good for acne, I use it liberally during those times. For oily skin, it feels like it regulates sebum production. There's a noticeable reduction in shininess, and it gives a sense of purifying and toning the pores. I've learned that the houttuynia cordata ingredient helps control excess sebum production. That's why those with dry skin might find it lacking in hydration. However, for combination and oily skin types, it feels like it balances oil and moisture well, making it a product I reach for often. When my usual skincare routine seems to be causing blemishes or my skin feels off-balance and prone to acne, I use this houttuynia cordata toner more frequently, thinking of it as a 'reset' for my skin. Since it's 99% natural ingredients, it might have a slightly fishy scent. That's what 'houttuynia cordata' means, after all. However, I'm using this product well! Those with super sensitive skin might find it irritating. Some might feel the hydration is slightly lacking, so for dry skin, I recommend mixing it with other products. It works great as a spot treatment! Soak a cotton pad generously and apply it like a mask on troubled areas.
