When used on mature skin, the skin expression and fading color are so beautiful,, But I keep writing and the next day, pimples pop up all over the place, so I can't use it anymore ㅠ I think it's because of the ingredients. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 9, 2025
The skin finish is really beautiful and long-lasting. I was surprised that it didn't break down even though it's not particularly adhesive. It's quite moisturizing and absorbs well. There's a bit of richness, so I highly recommend it for those with dry skin. The coverage is medium to low. I can't say it's exceptionally good, but it naturally covers light blemishes to some extent. As I used it, I noticed that my skin became oily quickly and I kept getting acne. I didn't know the cause, but when I switched to something else, it got better. It's really, really sad. If only it didn't cause acne, I would use this exclusively. At first, I was thrilled thinking I'd found my holy grail, but as I watched my skin get worse over time, I had no choice but to part ways with it... - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 28, 2024
Moisturizing and absorbs well. Leaves skin smooth. The way it settles on the skin is beautifully natural. Unfortunately, I suddenly broke out with acne after using this. The color is darker than expected. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 28, 2024
Its coverage, affordable price, and long-standing availability make it easy to find. **MUST READ for potential buyers** I'm reporting this product as the culprit that ruined my flawless skin. After years of unexplained issues and wasted money at dermatologists, I finally figured it out. I was blessed with naturally good skin. But suddenly, I started getting tiny blemishes along my hairline that wouldn't go away for over two years. I visited every dermatologist in my area and tried various treatments, including antibiotics and isotretinoin, but nothing helped. Recently, I was hospitalized for a health issue. I only brought basic skincare (toner, serum, moisturizer). After 5 days of rest and good nutrition, my blemishes disappeared, and my skin looked amazing. I felt reborn and truly happy. After discharge, I applied this BB cream for work, and immediately, tiny blemishes erupted along my hairline, sideburns, and cheeks. White sebum also appeared on my chin. By the time I got home, the blemishes had already formed. Even double cleansing and moisturizing couldn't reverse it. Because I didn't realize the cause right away, I used this BB cream for a few days, and my skin reverted to its pre-hospital state. I can feel it clogging my pores. White sebum appears first, visible to the eye, before turning into blemishes if not properly cared for. (Even with perfect cleansing, blemishes still form, likely due to the thick BB cream blocking pores in hot weather.) The ingredients are problematic. It's an old product I've used since middle or high school (around 200X), and formulations from that time aren't good for your skin. Nowadays, there are so many products with gentle, beneficial ingredients. (Do you know what talc is?) Don't believe reviews saying it doesn't turn ashy! Those are false claims from people who haven't used the product. I'm still using it today until my new product arrives. It does turn ashy. Touch-ups are necessary. If you apply makeup in the morning, you'll need to touch up at lunch and in the afternoon. When reapplying, you need to remove some of the old product first. Otherwise, the ashiness becomes severe. It's also extremely drying. If you have dry skin, you'll develop dermatitis unless your base skincare is very thorough. You need to apply moisturizer before this product. I have normal to dry skin, not extremely dry. To use this for work, I need to layer toner + serum + emulsion + moisturizer (thin layer twice) + sunscreen if needed. Without this, I experience a burning dryness. New users might not notice at first. But over time, you'll start getting a blemish or two, your skin will suddenly become dry, and you'll develop an irreversible skin type. Your skin itself changes. Don't use old cosmetics. Please use newly released products. Even if they say it's been renewed, don't use it. Just check the ingredients and buy something new. This product is really old. I know because I've used it for so long. I'm writing this hoping there won't be any more victims. ----- After receiving a review modification request from Hwahae, I'm re-posting with an update on my current situation. It's been about a month since I stopped using this product and switched to a gentler BB cream. When I was using the problematic one, I always had one or two new blemishes after cleansing in the evening, and I'd immediately reach for acne medication and patches. Now, I don't get any new blemishes or pimples on my entire face. For those struggling with skin issues, don't change all your products at once. Try changing one at a time and use each for 2 weeks to a month to trace back which product was causing problems. Check the ingredients of the problematic product on the Hwahae app and find cosmetics that suit you. Gentle cosmetics are those with fewer ingredients. Regardless of the type, products with fewer total ingredients tend to be less irritating. What works for others might not work for you. Trust your own senses. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 21, 2023
I bought it because I always used it, but after the renewal and ingredient changes, it turned out to be a disaster After the renewal, the ingredients changed... Alcohol was added. My skin reacts badly when I use cosmetics with alcohol, but I only realized this after buying it... I kept getting painful blemishes and didn't know why until I looked it up.. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 16, 2023
The coverage seems pretty good. It's a bit on the lighter side, but that's not a bad thing. The scent is just right too. It doesn't pill when applied with other products. It does cause some blemishes unfortunately... Because of this, I think this might be my last time using it. NA
