I tried this after hearing it could make incompatible foundations blend seamlessly. When I used Banila Co Covericious alone, it was dry and emphasized dead skin cells. But mixing it 1:1 with this BB cream made my makeup look flawless. Now I don't have to worry about base makeup fails anymore, which is fantastic! There aren't any downsides. If I had to nitpick, the packaging design is a bit old-fashioned. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJul 20, 2024
The coverage is fantastic. I love that it doesn't look dry like foundation. Even though I use the lightest shade, it's still a bit dark for my complexion. It would be great if they came out with an even lighter version. If you apply this after using Missha Glow Cream, your makeup turns out beautifully. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 4, 2024
Decent coverage and absorbs well Not drying, so it's suitable even for those with dry skin Tends to settle into fine lines Aside from that, it's generally satisfactory overall - Hwahae UserDry SkinSep 3, 2023
My face is so dry that most makeup flakes off, but this one works well. It covers all my yellowish and widespread sun spots, even though I don't have blemishes or acne on my face. There's nothing bad to say. I prefer matte BB creams, but due to my extremely dry skin, I have to give up on that matte finish. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 11, 2023
I have dry skin with dark spots, so I usually avoid products with low coverage. Even when I apply moisturizing base products and try various foundations that claim to be hydrating, they all end up looking patchy and even cracking after a short while. But on a friend's recommendation, I'm now on my third tube of this BB cream and I'm sticking with it! While results may vary from person to person, I find the coverage to be quite good, and it doesn't make my makeup look cakey. I absolutely love it! When I purchased this for the second time, I unfortunately got a product with a faulty pump. As a result, I had to cut open the tube and transfer the contents to another container. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 10, 2021
I have warm undertones and use shade 22. I tried shade 21 for this review. Overall, I recommend this product as it's quite nice to use. ▪️Texture • It applies incredibly moisturizing with no emphasis on dead skin cells. • There's a slight glow, finishing semi-matte. I applied it with a regular sponge, but using a damp sponge might give a different skin finish. • Even with my combination dehydrated skin, I didn't feel any deep dryness while using it. • Compared to foundation, it doesn't feel heavy or suffocating, which I liked. • There's a very faint herbal scent that wasn't bothersome. • It spread thinly when I applied it with a regular sponge. • Applying a small amount thinly and patting it in gave good adherence. • After wearing it outdoors for 3 hours with a mask on, there was only slight rubbing off on the nose bridge and sides, with no clumping or breakdown elsewhere. • It seems they really focused on transfer resistance. Apart from the inevitable transfer on the nose area, I barely noticed any transfer on the mask. ▪️Color • The brightness is perfectly natural and pretty for shade 21. • The coverage is good. It covers almost everything except for very red, dark blemishes. • Even though I don't suit pink bases at all, this had a more neutral color leaning slightly warm. So I don't think it will change your skin tone much. • Even after some time, it didn't turn ashy or show any darkening. • It covers redness well and has a beautiful color for warm-toned 21-22 shades. I didn't notice any major drawbacks, but if I had to pick one, there might be slight mask marks left.
