My skin type is dry, sensitive, and prone to atopy! This is an honest review after using the product for over a year! ✔️ Texture: It has an almost water-like consistency!! It flows easily, so you need to apply it quickly~ ✔️ Absorption: After applying one layer, your skin feels squeaky clean, like right after washing your face when the water has completely dried! If you have dry skin, you must apply an emulsion after this serum!!! Even in summer, I always made sure to add extra hydration and moisture after using this product!!! ✔️ Effectiveness: It's supposed to have a brightening effect, but I didn't really notice any... ✔️ Scent: They say it's lavender, but...!! To me, it smelled a bit artificial. ✔️ Repurchase intention: I don't really have any... ✔️ User experience: The main reason I felt this product didn't suit me well was that it stung a bit... I have extremely sensitive skin, so that could be why, but it got worse when my skin wasn't in good condition. You might be satisfied if you think of it as an exfoliating toner just for basic skin texture improvement! - yu******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 1, 2025
It's deeply hydrating, so there's no feeling of tightness. Although it's an essence, I use it as a toner substitute. The scent isn't bad, but it's a bit on the stronger side. The large volume makes it great for liberal use. It's definitely a value-for-money product. There's a slight tingling sensation when used after exfoliation or eyebrow hair removal. They could tone down the fragrance a bit. - ar*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 27, 2024
I use this as a pre-skincare mist right after cleansing, and I'm pleasantly surprised by how hydrating and bouncy it feels. The scent is also subtly pleasant. I switched to this from the blue bottle rose water toner, and I find this one better as it doesn't cause any deep dryness and feels more comfortable on my skin. While I enjoyed the fragrance, those who dislike strong lavender scents might find it overpowering. When using it as a mist, you need to hold your breath while spraying. It can be uncomfortable if you accidentally inhale it. Occasionally, it stung a bit when it got into my eyes. It comes with a small bottle too, which is great for refilling and carrying around as a portable mist. - so***********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRednessRecommendedJul 8, 2024
It's wonderfully moisturizing and gentle on the skin. I love that the ingredients are mild and the scent is pleasant. Even though I have super sensitive skin, this product suits me well. While it's great for cleansing, it leaves my skin feeling a bit dry for toning. I think it's essential to follow up with a nourishing essence. When I do a skin pack and lie down, the lavender scent helps me sleep better. - up****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedJan 22, 2024
First off, my skin is super sensitive and prone to blemishes if I use the wrong product... I have a complexion that's a bit prone to redness. While I couldn't tell much after just one day of use, after using it for a bit longer, I found this toner to be quite nice. The formula is completely transparent and flows quickly like water! This means you could use it with toner pads for a mask-like application, or simply apply it gently with a cotton pad for a nice cleansing effect. It contains lavender, so there's a lavender scent, but I didn't find it overpowering. The subtle lavender fragrance actually made the experience more pleasant for me. What I really appreciated was how quickly it absorbs and how it's less sticky than other products. I was quite satisfied using this toner! Its light and gentle nature makes it seem perfect for summer use too. I think it would even work well as a mist if you transfer it to a spray bottle. While the lavender scent is subtle, it might not be suitable for those who dislike lavender. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 8, 2020
It's gentle and has a lovely scent. I've been using it by soaking a cotton pad and wiping my face. After patting it on, my skin feels wonderfully hydrated. I didn't find any downsides. Even though I have dry skin, I didn't experience any dryness after using it. - wh****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 13, 2020
I've used it more as a mist. Every spritz brings the soothing lavender scent - it's my cup of tea, though it might not be for everyone. I stumbled upon the cream at the Gangnam Shinsegae basement and fell in love with the lavender fragrance. The diffuser smells absolutely divine too. My sister also prefers using it as a mist. It's budget-friendly and hydrating, which is why I've gone through about 4 bottles. Now that I've run out, I'm off to repurchase! Nothing negative so far... I'll have to grab the diffuser when it's on sale! - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedJul 9, 2020
It's as light as water yet deeply hydrating, with an amazing scent. The generous amount means it'll last for ages - I'm absolutely thrilled with it! Honestly, I can't think of any downsides. While the price is a bit steep, you can snag it at a great deal when Costco runs a promotion! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 23, 2020
It's incredibly lightweight, similar to a first toner. It absorbs well and has a texture that's perfect for summer use. While I like lavender, the scent feels a bit overwhelming. I think it would be better if the fragrance was toned down a bit. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 30, 2020
While the scent might be divisive, I personally enjoyed it. I also appreciate the gentle ingredients. The price is a bit high, but this drawback is offset by the generous amount of product you get.
