I absolutely adore Aesop's signature scent. It really does wonders for adding volume to my hair! Unfortunately, it didn't quite agree with my oily scalp. I noticed a few blemishes popping up... - Hwahae UserOily SkinNov 17, 2022
The fragrance is lovely... that seems to be its main charm. The bottle design is elegant, giving a great decorative effect. I can't see any benefits that justify the price. I'm not sure why it costs this much. - cj*******Combination SkinRecommendedJul 13, 2021
First off, I love the refreshing scent (a blend of citrus and woody notes?) and the cooling sensation. Even after use, it feels light and invigorating without any residual heaviness. Once it dries, the fragrance becomes very subtle. The price is quite steep for a shampoo. Also, for those with poor eyesight, it's hard to distinguish between this and the conditioner when using them together in the shower. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinJun 28, 2021
The natural scent is pleasant with a refreshing feel. The beautiful bottle adds a decorative touch. It doesn't lather well, and I can't use it without conditioner. In my case, due to frequent hair coloring, my damaged hair felt very stiff after use. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 5, 2020
When shampooing, it gives a refreshing sensation at the roots of my hair. The fragrance is also pleasant. I end up using a large amount when shampooing. Although it lathers, it doesn't seem to cleanse thoroughly, so I find myself using more to get a good lather. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 27, 2020
To be honest, I really love it. Among Volume, Nurturing, Classic, and Calming, this one is the best. I've been very satisfied with it all this time. As expected, it's about the ingredients. I'm not happy with the ingredients. Why, oh why!!!! - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedFeb 5, 2019
As someone with dry, sensitive scalp and hair damaged from frequent perms, I've used about 5 bottles of this. While using it, I felt my scalp was thoroughly cleansed, and true to the line's name, my hair felt stronger. I used it along with the volumizing conditioner, and I think both my scalp and hair have become healthier. Aesop's biggest drawback is undoubtedly the price. With so many great botanical brands available these days, it's true that Aesop falls short in terms of value for money. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 21, 2019
I tried a sample and was pleasantly surprised! Despite my skepticism about volumizing shampoos, especially for permed hair, this one exceeded my expectations. It really brings life to both the roots and curls! I usually rely on blow-drying for volume, but this shampoo has changed my mind. I'm planning to purchase the full-size product soon. The price is a bit steep, though. It would be great if it were more affordable. - wj****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessJan 5, 2018
I bought this shampoo because it was said to be suitable for both me and my child. After trying countless oily scalp shampoos to combat scalp odor, I'm still amazed at how this volumizing shampoo, which isn't even specifically for oily hair, has somehow eliminated the smell. It's truly baffling but in a good way! The price is wickedly high, and there's a lack of stores carrying this product, which are definite drawbacks. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAug 23, 2016
This shampoo definitely has a volumizing effect compared to others. It also gives a refreshing sensation to the scalp. The lather is average. I'm hesitant about repurchasing due to the high price. The fragrance also feels somewhat lacking...
