I tried using the product that was given to me at the salon. Hair type: Oily scalp + frequently permed, damaged hair. It's an opaque cream formula. You just squeeze it onto wet hair and rub it in, so it's convenient and doesn't get all over your hands. The scent is quite strong, reminiscent of a salon fragrance. I personally liked it. After applying the curl cream, if you dry your hair in a twisting motion, the curls last quite well. I was worried it might be too oily, but that's not the case at all. There wasn't anything particularly disappointing. I received this as a gift and tried it out - it's absolutely wonderful! The scent is lovely too. With other curl creams, I used to get acne-like bumps on my scalp, but when I use this one, I don't get any scalp blemishes! The price is too high. It absorbs well without leaving a greasy residue. After application, hair feels soft and the fragrance is pleasant. While its hold is quite light, it's great for maintaining curls and providing hydration. If it were just a bit more affordable, I would have made this my go-to product. It's quite pricey and contains some potential allergens. I personally used it without any blemishes. However, it's far from impressive in terms of hold and value for money.
