While it's not the type of cream that glides on thinly due to its rich texture, I'm really enjoying it because the hydration power is absolutely fantastic! Some people mention they're not fond of the scent, but personally, I find it quite pleasant! - kj*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresMay 29, 2022
There's nothing positive to say except that it's from Lush. The texture is extremely thick, making it difficult to apply. As someone with oily skin, I really dislike this formulation. The scent is also very artificial and overpowering, which I find unpleasant. Additionally, the packaging is unhygienic. - mi********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 8, 2022
The scent is so captivating, I can't stop sniffing it. It has a rich, creamy aroma that reminds me of vanilla. The hydration power is absolutely incredible. After application, my skin feels amazingly supple and bouncy. Unfortunately, it causes eye irritation. It seems like Lush products and I just don't get along in this lifetime. This is already the second cream that's making my eyes sting. There must be some ingredient that's irritating my eyes. - es***Dry SkinAtopic SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedNov 5, 2021
Winter hasn't even started, but my skin is already feeling parched all over! I knew I needed a rich body emulsion, and this winter, I've found a companion in Lush's Charity Pot body emulsion. I was drawn to it because it's described as a nourishing body emulsion packed with high-quality ingredients sourced through fair trade. Sounds promising, right? As someone with extremely dry skin, I've found that oils and petroleum-based products actually worsen my deep dryness. That's why I prefer heavier body emulsions. Mixing oils is too much hassle, and emulsions with oil content are not only easier to use but also seem to have better absorption and application. The Charity Pot was perfect for me in this regard. I was a bit worried about the scent since I bought it online, but thankfully, I love it. It has Lush's signature herbal aroma with subtle notes of ylang-ylang and a hint of shea butter. It doesn't leave that slippery feeling on your hands like typical hand creams, so it works well as a hand cream too. The downside with Lush, as always, is the high price point. Body products are best when used generously, but that's not really possible here. It's a shame. I wish they could make their body products a bit more affordable, considering the amount you need to use. While Charity Pot is an emulsion, you can think of it as almost a cream. Here's a tip I recommend: Apply your regular body emulsion all over, then layer Charity Pot on areas prone to dryness. This way, you can make it last a bit longer!
