It's great for dry skin. Highly recommended!
ConsThe rich texture is a bit disappointing. I'm using a thicker cream as a final step in my routine.

ConsThe only slight drawback might be a bit of richness. However, this level of richness just feels like moisture and isn't uncomfortable, so it was fine
TipIt's Skin pad-ampoule-cream routine

It has a moisturizing, fluid-like texture. There's a subtle herbal and medicinal scent. As a soothing product, it worked wonders on my irritated skin. It calmed my skin nicely after laser treatment. Unlike other products that sting on sensitive skin, this calming line feels hydrating and is perfect for slathering on morning and night.
ConsWhile absorption was fine in winter, it might be too oily for oily skin types in summer. Though it feels watery when applied, it doesn't leave lasting hydration. For a hydrating line, it lacks sufficient moisture. The main drawback is the small 30ml quantity - not enough product.
TipIt works great when applied after toner. This product alone isn't enough for hydration, so a moisturizer is a must. It's excellent for soothing skin irritated by laser treatments, making it ideal for morning and evening application.

The texture is lightweight and not sticky. It absorbs quickly into the skin.
ConsThe formula oddly feels less hydrating and more oily. For combination dehydrated skin, it doesn't provide enough moisture to address deep dryness.

The cooling effect is great, and it's suitable for sensitive skin.
ConsWhile it's hydrating, you'll need a richer cream to balance the oil and moisture if you want to achieve the right oil and moisture balance.

My skin is usually sensitive, but the weather has made it even more reactive lately. Here's my review after using this ampoule in this skin condition. First off, despite my skin being at its most sensitive, this ampoule suited my skin well. While it didn't provide dramatic soothing effects, I want to give it high marks just for not irritating my skin in this state. The scent is subtle, so you shouldn't feel overwhelmed when applying it. The consistency is slightly thicker than water, so be careful as it can run when applying. It absorbs quickly into the skin without sitting on top. If you feel you need more hydration, it's fine to layer it a few times.
ConsFor winter use, I feel it lacks a bit in terms of hydration and richness. I wish it had a slightly thicker consistency.
TipWhen using this in winter, I recommend applying two to three layers.

(+) I've added more content after finishing the entire bottle. Additional comments are marked with (+). Quick summary: A refreshing essence perfect for summer use Scent: There's a very faint herbal medicine smell. Personally, I quite like this type of scent, so it was fine for me. Texture and application: It's extremely runny. When I dispensed it on the back of my hand, it dripped right off. You can consider it as having almost no viscosity. Thanks to its thin consistency, it applies very refreshingly. That's why I think it would be great for summer use. (+) Even outside of summer, it's excellent for layering multiple times. After trying other products, I realized there aren't many ampoules that layer well. A big advantage is that you can apply it multiple times without it feeling sticky, and it absorbs well. Dropper design: I think the dropper design is why the thin texture isn't a drawback. The tip is angled, making it convenient to apply directly to the face. Ingredients: Checking the Hwahae app, the ingredients looked good. Even though it was a short period, I didn't experience any breakouts or reactions.
ConsHydration: As I mentioned earlier, it's very thin and applies refreshingly, which is why it felt a bit lacking in hydration for me. One application wasn't enough; I needed to apply at least twice. Especially as the weather suddenly turned cold, it provided insufficient moisture for dry skin types, so you might need to follow up with a somewhat richer cream.
Tip(+) Applying this ampoule about 3 times followed by a cream provides a nice, adequately hydrated feel.

I focus on deep hydration for the U-zone and moisture for the T-zone. My usual skincare routine includes toner, serum, essence, and cream. <Product Description> The texture flows like water but has a slight viscosity. It applies smoothly at first, then develops a rich feel, finishing with a soft, nourishing sensation. What I loved: 1. Scent: Initially, I detected a cucumber-like scent that wasn't to my liking. However, it's very subtle and becomes almost unnoticeable over time. I prefer this near-scentless product to ones with strong fragrances. 2. Smooth application: While all serums apply smoothly, this one has a unique feel due to its thickness. It's not as light or runny as some serums, giving it a weightier, luxurious smoothness. 3. Balanced richness: At first, it doesn't feel oily at all, but midway through application, you start to notice the richness. It's not overwhelming though - it feels like it's locking in the initial moisture, which I really appreciate. 4. Dropper: Unlike some serums where the dropper doesn't fill completely, this one fills right to the tip. It's easy to dispense and apply the desired amount.
ConsWhat could be improved: 1. Insufficient hydration: While the finish is rich, I found the hydration lacking. It would have been perfect if it provided more moisture before the rich layer sealed it in. This might be fine for oily skin, but for combination or dry skin types, it's not quite enough for winter use. 2. Timing of richness: The rich feel starts to develop midway through application, rather than at the end. From the middle of application, it feels more like applying an oil serum. I wish the rich texture came in a bit later. 3. Soothing effect: The website claims it has excellent soothing properties due to licorice and chamomile extracts, but I didn't notice much soothing effect. Even though it's not very hot these days and I don't need intense soothing, I still couldn't see any noticeable calming benefits.
TipTo sum up, it starts with moisture and finishes with richness. However, the hydration level is insufficient, and it doesn't provide the exceptional soothing effect claimed on the website. For dry skin types, it might work from spring to fall. Combination skin types could use it from early fall to early winter. Oily skin types might find it suitable from early winter to mid-winter. If only it had more hydration, it would be great, but the lack of moisture compared to its richness makes it tricky to pinpoint the ideal season for use. However, the quantity is suitable for use over half to one season, and the price isn't too high. If you're looking for a serum to use for about half a season, this product might be worth trying!
