Great for combination dehydrated skin and acne-prone skin - gentle and lightweight! Disappointing amount of solution inside. The pads weren't as saturated as I'd hoped. Not sure if it actually shrinks pores as claimed. This product seems to be a type of exfoliating or toning pad. While it's gentle enough for sensitive skin types, the effectiveness in pore reduction is questionable. The lack of sufficient solution in the package is a notable drawback, affecting the product's overall performance and value.

I was worried after reading reviews about tingling or burning sensations, but the cooling effect wasn't too bad for me. You know how pores look huge in the morning, right? After cleansing, I applied this to the enlarged pores on my cheeks for 10 minutes, and they disappeared like magic! While it didn't have a significant effect on the numerous large pores around my nose, I think consistent use could lead to good results. The amount of essence in each pad is quite small. I usually put it on my skin while blow-drying my hair, but the pad isn't very adherent and is a bit stiff, so it tends to fly off with the dryer's air - so frustrating! I still use it because it works well, but I'm deducting a star for this issue. Leave the pad on for 10 minutes, and you'll notice your pores have visibly shrunk. There's a very slight cooling effect and the scent is refreshingly pleasant. The pads feel a bit less moist, making them more suitable for morning use and summer rather than evening and winter. The pads are thick with different textures on each side. The rougher side is great for exfoliating and removing dead skin cells, while the softer side provides an extra dose of hydration. Although marketed as pore pads, aside from the exfoliation and refreshing feel, I'm not sure how much they actually help with pores... The thickness of the pads makes it difficult for the toner to be fully absorbed into the skin. Given the steep price, if pores are your main concern, you might be better off with other toner pads or serums. The thickness of the pads makes them uncomfortable to use as a face mask. They have a non-woven fabric feel... There's also not much toner in the container - just enough to dampen the pads (meaning they're not soaked). When cleansing your face, using the rough side (which is already less moist) can be irritating... Those with super sensitive skin might want to avoid these. I'm not usually a fan of pad-type products, but when I place the Skanskin pore pads on my skin, I feel a tightening sensation. It doesn't make my skin dry though. It's more like my pores are being refined? The texture of the pad is different on each side. What I really liked was that even though I thought I cleansed thoroughly, when I wiped my face with these pads, I could see leftover makeup coming off. They work hard to clean your skin! If you have super sensitive skin or a delicate complexion, I'd recommend doing a patch test first. The tingling sensation can be stronger than you might expect. These cooling pads are perfect for summer use. With different textures on each side, you can exfoliate with one and soothe with the other - it's ideal! The included tongs are a nice touch, so you don't have to use your fingers. They're also great for a quick, refreshing swipe over the body. Unfortunately, there's not enough essence - you can see in the photo that the middle isn't fully saturated. The cooling sensation is stronger and lasts longer than expected, so those with sensitive skin should be cautious, especially around the eyes and mouth. The pads are soft and don't contain much essence, so they're not sticky and absorb well into the skin. While it's not completely irritation-free, I did experience some tingling after exfoliating. At first, I thought they might have sent a defective product because there was hardly any essence... It's surprising since most toner pads these days have some liquid, but this one had literally not a drop. After using it for about two months, I noticed the pads themselves still apply moistly to the skin, which might be a technological feat, but it's still a bit disappointing. As for pore reduction... I'm not really sure if it works. It's also supposed to be good for dead skin cell removal, but I didn't notice much effect. I love that it's gentle on the skin and frequently goes on sale. It's not an intense exfoliator, but rather a mild one that's gentle on the skin. Since it's now available in department stores, the price has become wickedly high. Can't buy it without a sale. It's not extremely hydrating either.

Many reviews mention that the pads are stiff, and they indeed are! While it's fine for use as an exfoliating toner, it might be a bit challenging to use these pads as a mask. The tweezers provided to separate individual pads don't grip well, making it difficult to pick up one pad at a time. Caution: If you have super sensitive skin, using this with the Skinskin Tightening Toner might cause a burning sensation on your face, so use carefully!

The packaging is pretty! It's refreshing when stored in the fridge. There seems to be an immediate pore-minimizing effect. The effect is very temporary. The pads are thick and stiff like pickled radish, not moist at all. They feel so dry that they slide off easily when applied. Saw ads for a massive 80-90% off sale on the 'last day', but it seems that's their regular price. They've been running '80% off' since December through January, always claiming it's the 'last day'... Would I buy it at full price? Maybe once, but definitely wouldn't repurchase. Also, it causes a tingling sensation on the face. Though most pore-minimizing products tend to do that. It's worth applying if you're meeting your boyfriend bare-faced and are conscious about your pores. The pads are thick and give a refreshing sensation when applied. I have oily skin, but after using these pads for a week, I've noticed my pores are looking cleaner. Nothing particularly negative to mention. I'm quite satisfied with it. Although it's only been a week, I've been using it daily.
