This is perfect for cool undertones. I have a light undertone, and this gray seems to be a perfect match. Although it's gray, it might seem light, but for someone like me with fuller brows, it's great for naturally filling in eyebrows. Thickness: The eyebrow pencil is thin, allowing for a natural-looking brow. You can draw as if you're implanting hairs, creating a natural look without ending up with cartoon-like brows. Color payoff: I've been using Cool Gray and Gray Brown for a while now, as I have a cool undertone. Gray Brown shows up darker on the brows, while Gray gives a lighter, more natural color. I think the brown mixed in makes it appear darker. That's why I prefer the natural-looking Cool Gray. In the photo, the top is Gray, and the bottom is Gray Brown. (Surprisingly, even though the top looks more brown, the bottom is actually the Brown one...) Overall: While the staying power could be a bit better, the price is very reasonable, the color payoff is great, and it's perfect for creating natural-looking brows. I'll definitely repurchase Cool Gray when I run out! This eyebrow pencil has become my go-to.
ConsLongevity: It's not an extremely long-lasting eyebrow product. For those with oily skin in summer, if you apply it in the morning, it might still be there at lunch, but it will likely fade significantly by evening. It doesn't hold up well against water either, so it's not waterproof! Nevertheless, I use it every day, even when I'm not wearing any other makeup.
TipI have relatively full brows, so I use this skinny eyebrow pencil mainly for color matching, drawing the tail, and filling in sparse areas. It works well for me. I think it could also work well for those with sparse brows if they use the thin pencil to draw in hair-like strokes for a natural look!
