✔️Sun Protection Exceptionally effective. I heard Biore was good, but this is truly excellent. As it's a mineral sunscreen, it provides immediate protection even if you go out right after application. ✔️Application It has a runny texture, making it easy to apply on the body or arms. Just spread it quickly and you're done - no clumping at all. ✔️Not Drying Perfect for outdoor pool visits. Its rich texture helps prevent skin from drying out. ✔️Rich Texture The richness makes it challenging to apply in summer. (It's fine for transitional seasons or winter though) ✔️Not Sold in Korea Must be purchased abroad or through international shipping. ✔️Thorough Removal Required For face, it comes off completely with cleansing oil (Missha Blackhead Off Cleansing Oil). For body, it takes about 3 washes with cleansing foam (Senka Whip Foam). Using cleansing water or eye makeup remover first makes the process quite manageable. ✔️Recommended for dry skin types who want to use mineral sunscreen If you have dry skin and couldn't use mineral sunscreens before because they were too drying, give this a try! ✔️Remember to shake well before use - ly******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 6, 2022
I bought this because it's gentle yet has a high SPF. For a mineral sunscreen, it doesn't leave much of a white cast and gives a very subtle brightening effect. It's best to think of it as having almost no tone-up effect. The texture is quite runny, so you need to squeeze it onto your palm to use. It feels a bit gritty at first, but once applied, it's quite moisturizing. There's a slight richness to it. It removes well with cleansing oil. The only downsides are that it's a bit oily and you can only purchase it through direct overseas ordering, unfortunately. - sk******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 26, 2022
I'm extremely satisfied. I've tried many sunscreens, but I think I'll stick with this one for a while. Pros: - Natural brightening effect (I have slightly fair skin, around shade 21) - Some people said it's hard to apply, but I found it easy to spread quickly due to its thin consistency. I just glide it on with my ring finger and pat it in. - It's incredibly lightweight. Unlike other mineral sunscreens, it doesn't feel like a heavy layer on the skin. I wear this alone without makeup. - No eye irritation. I usually can't use hybrid sunscreens because they sting my eyes. - Reasonably priced Cons: - It's affected by your skincare routine. Before I changed my serum, the sunscreen would pill and it was stressful. After switching serums, it adheres beautifully and makes my skin look pretty. I use Abib Heartleaf Essence and Zeroid Cream. - It's a Japanese product - be******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 24, 2022
Being a kids' sunscreen, it definitely feels gentle. The runny texture makes it easy to apply thoroughly, just be careful of it dripping! Even when using the recommended amount, it absorbs well and naturally brightens the complexion. The best part was that it didn't feel drying, so my skin felt comfortable. As it's a Japanese product, it might not be everyone's cup of tea. It seems to provide strong UV protection, so it's not easily washable. I recommend using an oil cleanser to remove it thoroughly, even if you don't do a full double cleanse. - ma****Dry SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedDec 10, 2021
I have extremely sensitive eyes and can't use most sunscreens, but wow, this one finally doesn't sting! It feels like it's not burning my skin at all. Plus, it's so watery and easy to apply. Even though I have dry skin, I love it. It's not sticky either. This might become my holy grail sunscreen! Being a Japanese product, the shipping cost is a bit high. It's a watery mineral sunscreen, so there's a slight white cast, but I don't mind it much. It's quite difficult to remove. Double or triple cleansing with an oil cleanser is a must. - sh******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 31, 2021
It's great as a mineral sunscreen for makeup-free days! It's gentle and doesn't leave my skin feeling too dry, despite being a mineral formula. The liquid texture makes it really challenging to apply. Also, it's hard to find in Olive Young stores. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 26, 2021
I bought this mineral sunscreen for quick application before walking my dog. It's a completely runny liquid type product. For a mineral sunscreen, it's incredibly moisturizing and feels comfortable on the skin. Most mineral sunscreens start off hydrating but quickly dry out and crack over time, but this one doesn't. It maintains a comfortable level of hydration even as time passes. There's some white cast initially, but it becomes more natural-looking over time. The downside is that it's only available through international shipping. Also, because it's such a liquid formula, application can be tricky. If you apply too much at once, it feels like water sliding around, making it hard to spread evenly. It's also surprisingly difficult to remove. It feels like it's stuck to your skin with silicone oil. Regular foam or gel cleansers don't budge it, and even with milk cleansers, you need to work at it for a while. I found that an oil cleanser is necessary for easy removal. - la********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 4, 2021
As someone with skin tone 23-24 that tans easily, I've always struggled with Korean sunscreens. Being on the darker side, I seem to tan even more quickly. I've tried countless sunscreens, but nothing seemed to work well. Four years ago, I tried Bioré products in Japan during an incredibly hot summer. To my amazement, my skin didn't tan or darken at all. I was impressed by how effective it was. Recently, after the sunscreen controversy in Korea, I decided to order Bioré products again - the Sun Essence and the Kids version. The Sun Essence has always been great, but I was pleasantly surprised by the Kids sunscreen. It has a water-like consistency that absorbs completely into the skin! There's a slight white cast initially, but it disappears as the product sinks in, becoming one with your skin naturally. The sun protection is outstanding. It would be perfect for children's delicate skin. The reason I deducted one star is because it's quite difficult to remove. When I didn't cleanse properly, I noticed some small blemishes appearing! A single cleanse isn't nearly enough - you need to double cleanse very thoroughly. Perhaps it's due to its strong sun protection, but it really clings to the skin. In the future, I plan to use this generously on my body rather than my face, except when I know I'll be in the sun for extended periods. Apply generously to your body, and don't forget to shake the bottle well before each use!
