Well, I can't really think of anything particularly good... Maybe I just don't know how to use it properly. At least it didn't cause any blemishes! I honestly can't figure out what this product is supposed to do. I can't even tell if it's covering my pores. Definitely wouldn't recommend. - sr***Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedSep 8, 2023
This is the only worthy alternative to Benefit's Dr. Feelgood. Why did they discontinue it? Balm-type primers are such a rare gem... After using it for a while, it dries out and becomes powdery. Please improve the packaging. On top of that, the case gets covered in black smudges. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 22, 2023
I bought this for the pretty case, but it turned out to be my holy grail! I apply it thinly all over my face except around the nose, then follow with 3CE foundation. It never pills or separates. Usually, my base makeup floats after applying skincare and sunscreen, but this primer is truly miraculous! Using a spoon to scoop out the product can be inconvenient, but I think you get a good amount. Tube types run out quickly. It might feel a bit drying, but I think it'll be great for summer. - ju********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 4, 2021
This is surprisingly a holy grail product! It does an excellent job of controlling oil around the nose area in summer and effectively concealing pores. The jar packaging is a bit inconvenient to use, and it's slightly challenging to control the amount. While it's effective, I find myself rarely using it in the morning routine due to the hassle. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 14, 2020
Advantages: 1. Great value for money - It's better in many aspects compared to primers from other brands in this price range 2. Excellent at filling in wrinkles 3. Superb at controlling excess oil Drawbacks: The case tends to leak a black ink-like substance It doesn't cover pores very well The built-in sponge absorbs too much of the primer if you use it - ca***********Oily SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedSep 14, 2019
As someone with oily skin and large pores, this product is an absolute gem! It does an excellent job of concealing pores and gives my skin a smooth, velvety finish. The value for money is outstanding. I'm particularly impressed with the built-in cushion or compact - it's really convenient. Application is a breeze too. One thing to note though, the amount is so generous that I doubt I'll be able to use it all before it expires! I thought there were no downsides, but oh my, I should check the ingredients list! As someone with super sensitive skin, I'm grateful I haven't had any issues so far. Moving forward, I'll need to be more cautious when using it. I loved how the built-in cushion allows for a light, natural application. Just a gentle tap gives a subtle coverage that looks effortlessly natural. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 21, 2019
I have sensitive skin with large pores. I was looking for a primer on YouTube when I stumbled upon this product and decided to give it a try. It covers my pores incredibly well! My friend tried mine once and loved it so much she bought one for herself too. Since you always need to scoop out a bit to use, opening and closing the container frequently leads to some dust getting in over time. - 83*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAug 27, 2017
I've been using this for over 3 months and I'm planning to repurchase! I'm extremely satisfied with it. I heard that people with large pores should use primer in balm form, so I decided to try this affordable option, and it became my holy grail product! Every time I bought a primer before, I'd research and test different ones, giving them away if they didn't cover my pores well. But this is the most effective primer I've ever used! I haven't experienced any blemishes with it either. Of course, I'm careful when cleansing since primers inherently block pores. At first, I thought the size wouldn't last long, but it's surprisingly long-lasting! Even though I use a lot of primer, it really lasts. Even with generous application, I didn't notice any pilling, it doesn't get oily, and it greatly improves the longevity of cushion foundation or liquid foundation. I'm extremely satisfied with the product itself! Being in balm form, it's inevitably inconvenient to scoop out for use. It's quite a hassle! I usually scoop out a larger amount at once and close the lid to prevent dust or contamination, but there's always a considerable amount left over that goes to waste. It's always either too little or too much when I try to scoop it out! After applying the primer, I spray on a makeup fixer, wait a bit, and then apply cushion or liquid foundation. This method prevents pilling, improves longevity, and seems to enhance the primer's effectiveness even more! - sk******Combination SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessDead Skin CellsSep 7, 2016
Beast-mode quantity... I wonder when I'll ever finish it all! It seems to cover pores really well! I have two large pores, and those spots need extra attention - I use a toothpick to really pack the product in there! If you use a firm tool to press and rub it in, it covers pores beautifully. And when you touch it, it feels incredibly soft and smooth, just like touching silk! If you apply it evenly all over, your skin becomes smoother overall and makeup goes on better. After using this and then applying foundation, I noticed my makeup lasts longer. Be careful not to apply too much, or your base makeup might pill - use just the right amount! It doesn't cover wrinkles very well! If you apply it to under-eye wrinkles, your makeup might clump up, so either avoid that area or use very little... And for those blessed with very large, wide, and numerous pores, you'll need to keep smoothing it with a puff, then use a toothpick to really fill in and press the product... It might take quite a bit of time... As you can see in the photo, it doesn't really conceal wrinkles! Instead, it gives a bit of a glow, if that makes sense? You'll also notice a silky finish. In case you're wondering... The product was applied to the palm below the thumb. I didn't use it on the center of the palm. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 19, 2016
Generous amount of product Slightly conceals pores Works well with my skin without causing blemishes Doesn't really cover uneven skin texture When applied around the eyes, it doesn't control oil and causes foundation and eyeshadow to crease
