It's great to carry this around and apply it when the color and shine from other tints have faded. It really brings your lips back to life! The staying power is a bit disappointing, to be honest. But on the bright side, you can reapply it without any staining, which is nice.

I personally prefer the signature Japanese makeup look of lips that appear water-soaked, and this product is perfect for achieving that effect. The color payoff isn't too intense, instead giving a natural, slightly livelier version of your own lip color. The PK2 shade I used is a warm pink with a hint of coral. As a Light Summer, this color could potentially look a bit heavy on me, but since the pigmentation isn't too strong and it has that water-soaked appearance, it's not bad even for cool-toned skin! I like to apply this product all over my lips and then add a slightly darker lip color just to the inner part. This creates an overall moisturized look with a beautiful water-soaked lip effect! However, as is typical with hydrating lip products, the staying power is somewhat lacking and the lip color tends to smudge easily. Also, if you keep reapplying, it can bunch up and potentially look heavy, so I recommend applying it thinly once or twice. Despite these minor drawbacks, the lip look it creates is so pretty that I'll definitely keep using it. I would repurchase! Being a Japanese product, I'm slightly concerned about the ingredients.
