I sprayed this soothing essence mist whenever I felt blemishes might appear. It's not sticky and has almost no scent. The downside is that you tend to use it generously, so the amount decreases quickly. Unfortunately, I didn't really notice any calming effects.

(The dermatologist at my clinic even mentioned they love using the Ferulic serum from this brand!) The Phyto Corrective line feels like a gentle, plant-based soothing and hydrating range. While I usually prefer serums with more potent antioxidants, I was intrigued when this line came out as a mist. The sample I tried came in a small container, so the spray might differ from the full-size product. Due to the small size, I couldn't use it as a fine mist, so I applied it to my cheeks and forehead, then spread it like an essence. The scent isn't your typical cosmetic fragrance - it's more like a slightly bitter, natural herbal aroma. As someone who dislikes strong fragrances, I actually preferred this. Despite its watery texture, it's incredibly hydrating. It instantly eliminates that deep dryness feeling, and even leaves a slight stickiness on the skin's surface. (Don't worry, it absorbs quickly, so the sticky feeling doesn't last long.) The nickname 'moisture-locking essence' makes perfect sense. I recently had a Thermage treatment, which left my skin slightly warm and dry. Wanting to avoid irritation, I skipped my vitamin and acid serums. Instead, I applied a layer of this mist followed by a hydrating gel cream - it was perfect! It felt soothing and hydrating without any irritation. I've put it in my skincare fridge for an extra cooling effect. I think this will be my go-to product after any skin treatments, including peels or other potentially irritating procedures. It's ideal for summer and transitional seasons when you need to calm skin irritated by heat and light. As a mist, it's perfect for frequent application. If the full-size product has good spray power, it should be great for day and night use, with or without makeup. I'm planning to purchase the full-size version soon! The sample container's spray wasn't very fine, so it was difficult to use as a mist. I had to apply it more like a serum.
