This volumizing mascara applies more densely than similar long-wear products, giving you a voluminous look. But it doesn't get clumpy or messy - it applies cleanly and evenly. I really dislike when mascara gets all gloppy, but Fairy products always apply beautifully without any clumping or flaking! The thick brush is easy to work with too - just scrape off any excess on the tube opening and you're good to go. And the lasting power is great! Even with strong winds and mask humidity, the curl held up well. The mascara powder also doesn't fall off easily.

The cute, kitschy Fairy Drops packaging is so adorable too! Carrying it around in my makeup bag, people always ask me about it.

I've tried two products, one in blue and one in red. Neither of them has been entirely satisfactory.

The common drawbacks of the two products are:
1. The applicator head is too thick
-> Difficult to apply meticulously, hard to control the amount, and clumping occurs

2. The initial amount dispensed is too much
With the thick applicator head and the excessive initial amount, these products seem quite challenging for beginners to use.

The red product also appears to be less effective than the blue one.
It clumps heavily, the amount is uncontrollable, and on top of the thick applicator, the product itself tends to droop significantly when it clumps. It also applies messily...
The product seems to have a lot of pigment, but it doesn't get neatly arranged in one go, so it might look uneven when applied by beginners.

Both products, but especially the red one, seem more suitable for special occasion makeup or highlighting, rather than daily use.

The waterproof feature is definitely effective, and the longevity is satisfactory.

I'm not sure what the benefit of the 4-ball brush structure is, but the brush is too thick and uncomfortable to use.

The photo makes it look like the clumped lashes were melted using an eyelash curler, but as a beginner (feat. Sally), I think I'd end up wiping it off when I first use it, thinking 'why is it clumping like this?'.

ㆍDifficulty in product control
The end part has too much product, while the part near the handle has too little, so one side of the lashes gets heavily coated while the other side barely gets any.

ㆍTransfers to the skin or droops
I'm not sure if it's because my lashes are naturally long, but once I curl them and apply the mascara, it leaves dots on my eyelids, and if I don't curl them, it just droops down.

ㆍVolume effect is super pretty
The waterproof formula is volume and curl, and as the name suggests, it definitely gives a more voluminous effect. As a result, it makes the eyes look prettier, like a doll's eyes.

ㆍNo smudging when rubbed
As someone who has the habit of rubbing their eyes, and this being the first time I've used something on my eyes, I ended up rubbing them quite a bit, but there was no transfer onto my hands. When I checked in the handheld mirror, there was no smudging either.

ㆍ4-ball structure
I didn't know why the 4-ball structure was an advantage, but when I tried using a regular mascara wand, I understood... I won't go on about it, but make sure to check if the mascara has a 4-ball structure when purchasing.
