Fairy Blue Longevity: Excellent Curling power: Excellent Clumping: Minimal Smudging: None As a volumizing mascara, it applies more evenly and creates more volume than the long-lasting product from the same line. It clumps just enough without getting messy, and the clean application is key! I absolutely hate messy mascara application, but Fairy products all apply cleanly without getting cakey, which I love! Despite the thick brush, it's not difficult to apply. Scrape off excess product at the mascara tube opening to control the amount and then apply! The staying power is great too! Even with strong winds and mask-induced humidity on my lashes, the curl held up well! Plus, there's minimal mascara flaking! And Fairy Drops' cute yet kitschy packaging is so pretty! When I take it out of my makeup pouch, everyone asks what it is! When I want to emphasize my lashes rather than do heavy makeup, I'm drawn to this. It really makes your lashes beautiful! If you apply too many layers, it can get heavy and droop!! It applies well with just the right amount, so there's no need to layer it on multiple times. Control the amount of product by scraping it off at the mascara tube opening! - lk******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRednessApr 9, 2022
The waterproof formula definitely delivers on its water-resistance and longevity claims, which I really appreciate. I've tried both the blue and red versions of this product, and I'm not entirely satisfied with either of them. Both products share some common drawbacks: 1. The applicator head is too thick - This makes it difficult to apply precisely, control the amount, and avoid clumping 2. The initial amount that comes out is excessive The combination of a thick applicator and too much product makes this quite challenging for beginners to use effectively. However, the red version seems to underperform compared to the blue one. It clumps more severely and the amount is hard to control. With the thick applicator head and the product's tendency to droop, it becomes even messier when it clumps excessively. It can apply quite unevenly as well. While it does create the appearance of fuller lashes, it doesn't neatly define them in one go. For novices, this might result in a messy, unattractive application. Both products, but especially the red one, seem more suitable for theatrical makeup or creating bold looks rather than everyday use. - fi********Dry SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessDead Skin CellsApr 6, 2022
1. The packaging is beautifully unique. While most mascaras come in plain black tubes or occasionally pink ones, this product stands out with its attractive and distinctive color scheme. 2. It has excellent curl-holding power. 3. It doesn't smudge easily. 1. It tends to clump quite a bit. 2. The brush is too thick. I'm not sure what the benefit of the 4-ball structure is, but the thickness of the brush makes application uncomfortable. It's a decent product that gets the job done. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinApr 5, 2022
• Volume effect is stunning The waterproof version truly lives up to its 'Volume & Curl' name. It definitely gives a more voluminous look, creating beautiful doll-like eyes. • Smudge-resistant As someone who habitually rubs their eyes... and a first-time mascara user, I found myself rubbing quite a bit. Surprisingly, nothing came off on my hands. When I checked in my compact mirror, there was no smudging either. • 4-ball wand structure I didn't understand why the 4-ball wand structure was an advantage until I borrowed a regular mascara wand to compare... I won't go into details, but make sure to check if your mascara has a 4-ball wand before purchasing. • Mascara clumping The photo looks fine because I used an eyelash curler to melt the clumps, but beginners (like myself) might wonder why it's clumping so much at first and end up wiping it off. • Difficult to control amount The tip of the wand has a lot of product, while the part closer to the handle has less. This results in one side of your lashes getting too much product while the other side barely gets any. • Easily marks skin or droops I'm not sure if it's because my natural lashes are long, but if I curl my lashes and then apply, it leaves dots on my eyelids. If I apply without curling, the lashes droop significantly. • Not for beginners. Best suited for experienced users. • Thorough cleansing is crucial. • Still, it lives up to its name (Volume & Curl).
