I recommend this as an introduction to fig-scented products. While Philosykos feels too common and boring to me, this one was quite nice. It was disappointing that the scent differed from the diffuser version. The fig scent had a slightly childish note, which was a bit of a letdown. However, I noticed that women seemed to like it. - lj*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsOct 18, 2024
If I were to evaluate just the fragrance-free aspect, it's pleasantly subtle... However, there's an odd scent reminiscent of watered-down, fermented... or perhaps stewed... or maybe aged figs? It has a slightly musty odor that's quite overpowering. I'm surprised this is the brand's signature fragrance. It really goes to show how personal perfume preferences can be. - 20******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessMay 3, 2024
I have combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive and prone to redness. My skin especially reacts to oils, heavy oil-based products, strong vitamins, and alcohol. Pores are a concern, but as I age, my skin is producing less oil and naturally improving. My skin tends to break out when I use sunscreen, so I'm always on the lookout for hypoallergenic options. So far, the recently released Hera blue tube sunscreen seems to work best for me! Unfortunately, I'm the type whose lips react badly to Chanel and YSL lip products. On a brighter note, I love the fresh, tropical fruit scent that hits you as soon as you spray this product. The mango or dragon fruit fragrance is delightful! The longevity is really disappointing. It seems all Acqua di Parma fragrances have this issue with staying power. - ch******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 11, 2023
I had high expectations for this fig fragrance since the brand is famous for it. When I first tried it, I thought, 'Huh? Is this really fig? It's not as impressive as I expected.' It felt somewhat heavy, and I couldn't understand why people were calling it light and fresh. However, as I continued using it, the scent grew on me. Usually, if a perfume's first impression isn't great, it stays that way, but Pico becomes more charming the more you wear it. It's a woody citrus scent with a clean fig note that's not overpowering or complicated. It's even suitable for hot summer days. The longevity is quite short. The scent quickly fades to a subtle fragrance. While the staying power isn't great, it actually works well for me since I don't like to wear strong perfumes. However, you'll need to reapply frequently to maintain the original scent. This fragrance seems versatile enough for both casual and semi-formal occasions. It also has a unisex appeal, making it suitable for both men and women. - ka*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 23, 2023
This is my signature scent! I received it as a gift from a friend, used it all up, and had to buy it again. The fragrance is so sophisticated and luxurious. Given that Acqua di Parma is such a high-end brand, I can only justify purchasing it when it's on sale. - ho***Dry SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 8, 2023
* If you're a fan of fig scents, this is an absolute must-have! (I use Philosykos in winter and Fico di Amalfi in summer) * It has a light, refreshing fig fragrance with a pleasant sweetness that's truly delightful. Compared to the heavier Diptyque Philosykos, this scent is much more airy and wearable. * The packaging is beautiful, and the fragrance complements any look, making it perfect for daily wear. The longevity, oh the longevity... It's a bit disappointing. I recommend either decanting it into a smaller bottle to carry with you or purchasing an additional travel-sized version for on-the-go touch-ups. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 3, 2022
The scent is absolutely my cup of tea! It's a delightful blend of sweet fig with a zesty citrus twist. It's perfect for both summer and winter, never feeling overwhelming. Perhaps due to the citrus notes, it has the staying power of an eau de toilette, which is a bit disappointing. Nevertheless, I can't give it up because of its unique and irresistible fragrance. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 3, 2022
The fig scent? I love it because whenever I smell it, I feel my tension melt away and I become so relaxed... I always spritz it on right before bed, just so I can inhale that soothing fragrance and drift off peacefully. Since it's an eau de toilette, unfortunately the staying power isn't great. - wc****Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJul 1, 2022
1. I absolutely love that fig notes are present in the top, middle, and base! If you're a fan of fig scents, you'll be delighted with this fragrance. (I'm a huge fan, so I'm completely in love!) 2. Ideal seasons for use: It's perfect for spring and summer. There's a subtle woody undertone mixed with a grapefruit note that creates a refreshingly sweet sensation. I don't have any specific complaints! Perfume is really a matter of personal taste, so if you're not into sweet scents, this might not be your cup of tea. - ki**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 6, 2022
As a fragrance enthusiast, I had never sampled a fig scent before, mainly because I'm not a fan of overly sweet fragrances (they can give me a headache). However, being part of Acqua di Parma's Blue line, I expected it to be sweet yet light. When I finally tried it, I was pleasantly surprised! It's sweet without being cloying, making it perfect for summer wear. It feels unexpectedly fresh, which I really appreciate. The dry-down is particularly lovely, with a subtle woody note that would work well in winter too. It reminds me of a crisp white shirt - clean and elegant. Unfortunately, the longevity is disappointingly short, especially considering it seems to be the priciest in the Blue line. That's a bit of a letdown.
