The pine needle moisturizer had excellent absorption and spread smoothly on the skin. I can't really find any significant drawbacks with this pine needle moisturizer. - pa*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 27, 2025
The first photo shows my skin with severe dermatitis after incorrectly using Nizoral. It was awful! The second photo is after using Suiskin's cleanser, toner, and cream for a few days. My skin has calmed down significantly and keeps improving! I've been dealing with seborrheic dermatitis, excess sebum production, and demodex mites since my mid-20s. It got so bad I could feel things crawling on my face at night! My pores were clogged and enlarged. Recently, I damaged my skin barrier by misusing Nizoral, so I urgently purchased the Suiskin cleanser, toner, and cream. I've already praised Suiskin's mildly alkaline cleanser in another review. While I need to use it longer to be sure, I'm honestly surprised at how well this basic skincare line works for me. It's the best match I've found in years! (For me, a good match means no tiny bumps, no itching, and no irritation. I don't expect miracles from skincare products, so I'm grateful just for the soothing effect.) I'm always nervous trying new creams because I've been disappointed so many times. I've tried countless products for dermatitis, including Es*ee, Ze*oid, Phy*ogel, Av*ne, La R*che-Posay, and others like Ci*cal, Dr. J*rt, and Ill*yoon. I wasted so much money! Recently, I thought I'd found a good match with To*eden's hyaluronic acid line and Ae*nature's squalane cream, but I kept getting tiny bumps. Both To*eden's soothing cream and Ae*nature's squalane cream are known for being gentle, but I felt like they were forming a film on my skin. After researching the ingredients, I realized hyaluronic acid might be the issue, and To*eden's products contain many film-forming ingredients despite their light texture. I had the same feeling with We*lage serum. I decided to avoid products with silicones or film-forming oils. Suiskin's cream has simpler ingredients, and after using it for a few days, I definitely feel less of a film-forming effect. While I can't say it's a perfect match yet, I'm getting fewer bumps and my skin feels less congested. I'll need to keep using it to know for sure. I've realized that skincare products with lots of moisturizing ingredients definitely don't work for my skin. This line has made that even clearer. People with better skin conditions might find it drying. There are some plant extracts in the formula, so I occasionally feel a slight allergic reaction, but it's milder than other products. I even find it gentler than Ci*cal, which has many natural ingredients. After application, my skin doesn't feel super moisturized when I touch it, but it's not rough or dry either. I don't get any flaky skin. Also, the sebum production caused by demodex mites has noticeably decreased (I think the mildly alkaline cleanser was most effective for this). The texture is very light, so I apply a thin layer all over and then add another layer. This seems to provide enough hydration while reducing the appearance of tiny bumps. I've also started applying it to my neck, which often breaks out with other products, but not with this one. This confirms that the ingredients really suit my skin. - je**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 4, 2025
I have combination dehydrated skin that changes with the seasons. This is a refreshing and gentle hydrating moisturizer that doesn't feel greasy at all. The scent is mild, and the ingredients are good, making it a great lightweight option for summer use. Since the product is on the lighter side, it's perfect for layering without feeling heavy. Those with dry skin or using it during winter or seasonal changes might find it a bit too light and not moisturizing enough. When used with a tea tree serum in summer, it's great for blemish care and absorbs well, leaving the skin feeling fresh. - ma*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessApr 3, 2025
This cream provides a light hydration with a slightly transparent bluish tint. While it doesn't quite deliver on its promises of rich hydration or significant soothing effects, it's a decent, no-frills moisturizer that's unlikely to cause any blemishes. 1. Despite being marketed as a hydration-focused cream with minimal oil, it doesn't feel sufficiently moisturizing. It applies smoothly at first but tends to dry out quickly. It might be more suitable for those with oily skin or as a light summer moisturizer. 2. There's a slight pilling effect when you gently rub your cheeks after application. 3. They heavily promote the pine needle extract, claiming excellent soothing and barrier-strengthening effects. However, it's listed outside the top 10 ingredients, suggesting an insignificant amount. I couldn't really notice any soothing effects, and it's a stretch to claim it strengthens the skin barrier. 4. The only real positive is that it's mild enough not to cause blemishes. However, for such an ordinary cream, the regular price of 50,000 won seems a bit inflated. - b7*******Normal SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedApr 1, 2025
I used this from summer through early fall, and I really enjoyed it. The scent is pleasantly subtle, and it worked well for me. It has a soothing cream feel with a smooth texture, so it absorbs well and provides great hydration. There's no rich feeling, which made it perfect for summer use. While it might be slightly lacking as a deep moisturizer, the hydration was really good, so I used it without any issues. I liked it even more because it was so well-balanced - neither insufficient nor excessive. It might not be enough to use this watery skin product alone during cold weather. - wo********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 25, 2025
It absorbs well and keeps my skin hydrated for a long time. It's a gentle and effective moisturizer. This is my first time trying Suiskin, and I love the ampoule, moisturizer, and sunscreen. They're all great! - je*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 20, 2025
While it looks like a soothing cream, the texture feels slightly rich and bouncy, providing hydration that doesn't evaporate quickly. After applying this, I didn't experience any blemishes, but I didn't notice any significant improvements either. It's just a decent everyday product. - go*****Dry SkinRecommendedFeb 12, 2025
The soothing cream has a hydrating texture without any oiliness, making it feel lightweight on the skin. While the subtle pine needle scent is pleasant, it unfortunately irritated my eyes, which was disappointing. As it's an oil-free moisturizer, I found it a bit drying and had to use a separate nourishing cream for extra hydration. - xa*****Oily SkinAcne SkinFeb 12, 2025
I remember it as a decent product that didn't particularly cause any blemishes It's so unremarkable that I have no intention of repurchasing - tl****Combination SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 15, 2025
Sleek and clean packaging! The way it absorbs and applies is fantastic I wish it came in a larger size. It's perfect for use all year round!
