This has become my recent favorite item that I reach for constantly! As someone with a deep undertone, this cranberry shade is perfect for me. It really shines when I apply a lighter color all over as a base and use this for a pop of color on the inner lips. I initially thought it would be a glossy lip product, but as I used it, I realized it's more of a semi-matte type without much shine. It has a powdery finish with a slightly tacky texture - dry on the outside, but with a bit of grip! The formula is incredibly easy to apply and can be controlled as desired. It doesn't apply too thickly, making it comfortable on the lips. There's no hint of orange; it's a dark, deep undertone color similar to dried cranberries. You could simply call it a warm burgundy. Whether I'm bare-faced and quickly applying it with a finger blend, or using it as a point lip color over a full base, it's my go-to for instantly brightening up my complexion. It has a warm undertone. The color is a muted brick shade with almost no pink tint. It's an atmospheric color that stands out without being too flashy. While it applies smoothly and isn't drying, the taste and scent are a bit... well... And compared to MAC, it feels like it's sitting on the lips. I guess you could say it applies a bit thickly? Still, the color is everything! It's a deep shade but not too harsh. First off, the color... it's absolutely gorgeous and slightly more affordable compared to Bobbi Brown lipsticks (considering that Bobbi's white stick lip balm is even pricier than this). It has a nice weight to it, the case is pretty, and overall it's a solid, versatile choice! The scent... isn't particularly disappointing, but others have mentioned it smells odd. Hmm... It's not a strong smell, but it's not exactly fragrant either. To be honest, I bought it because reviews said it was moisturizing, but it doesn't apply super smoothly. If you have any dead skin cells, it really doesn't look pretty when applied... I'm not sure who said it was moisturizing... It's more like semi-matte? I thought it would be dry since it's a lipstick, but it applies smoothly and the color is absolutely gorgeous! The staining doesn't have a pink tinge, it comes out exactly in the shade I want. This is my holy grail lip product. Since buying Bobbi Brown, I haven't used any other product - the color is beautiful and it's just perfect. I'll definitely repurchase when I run out! Everyone, you must try this! The price point is quite high, so it might be a bit expensive for students like me to use, but it's still so beautiful. If I had to point out one flaw, it would be that the paint on the color indicator part of the case chips slightly.
