It was fairly well-absorbed.
ConsI didn't see any effect on my blemishes. I had a headache until I finished the entire bottle. I would recommend just using a light moisturizer instead.

So when Olive Young had a sale, I rushed in and selected a cream after searching for the ingredients on Hwahae. That's how clean the ingredients are, right? The spreadability and absorption are quite decent! However, it gets absorbed quickly right after application, so using it as a standalone cream after toner is not enough! Dry-skinned people will need an additional cream! I've been using it consistently for almost 3 weeks, and I thought 'What's this, nothing has improved at all!' but when I compared the photos, the blemishes have actually decreased a lot!!!!! I will have to continue using it consistently from now on! The reduction in blemishes alone is doing its job well for me^_^
ConsIt's a bit drying. It's difficult to use as a standalone cream, and an additional moisturizing cream is needed!!
TipWhen doing your nightcare, mix the Madecassoside ointment from Papa Recipe with it in a 1:1 ratio, and apply it before going to sleep. When you wash your face the next morning, you'll be surprised at how soft it feels.

Other spot serums require applying to the entire face, which can be tricky depending on your skin type, but this one is just for targeted areas. You can just apply it as the final step in your skincare routine and you're done. Other spot treatments can be thick and sticky, or leave a white cast that transfers to your pillowcase, but this one applies smoothly and absorbs nicely like a regular cream! While I can't speak to using it all over the face, I feel the amount is quite generous for just spot treating like I do. I've been using it almost daily for over 3 months now and still have plenty left.
ConsThe effects don't show up super quickly, so you may initially think it's not doing much. When you apply it and then put on cushion or foundation, that area can get cakey. So I'd recommend applying it at night, and if you do use it during the day, avoid layering base products on top.
TipIt's a bit of a hassle, but if you consistently apply a thin layer as the last step in your skincare routine every day, the spots will disappear before you know it. I've managed to get rid of most of my blemish marks using this!
