The Acuvita Blemish Serum is more convenient to use. To be honest, I bought it because of the freckles, but it's more effective on acne scars than freckles. I'm a 31-year veteran of dealing with blemish scars:) I tried this product because it's good for blemish scars and freckles/dark spots. The texture is slightly creamy but applies smoothly and leaves a refreshing finish, which I really liked! It's a great daily cream that can be worn even in the summer! The fragrance is nice, and the finish is great. As for makeup transfer, it seems to vary. These days, I can go out without a mask, so I use the Cure Cica Cream to build a solid skincare base and then apply my makeup.
