The scent isn't overpowering, which I really appreciate. It's on the thinner side, so mixing it with an emulsion in the morning works great! Right after application, it's not too oily, making it suitable for applying foundation. I've been using it for 7 months now, and despite having super sensitive skin, I haven't experienced any blemishes! It's gentle on the skin and doesn't cause any eye irritation. It's quite runny, so controlling the amount can be a bit tricky. It does feel a bit on the pricey side... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 17, 2023
It's wonderfully hydrating, preventing dryness, and has a scent reminiscent of the famous Byredo La Tulipe perfume The consistency is quite runny, tending to drip, and it's a bit on the pricey side - jw*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 9, 2023
First off, I'm really particular about white cast and eye irritation. This sunscreen has absolutely no eye irritation, and you can hardly find any white cast. The absorption is top-notch, it adheres to the skin naturally without making your face look ghostly. It finishes with a soft, matte feel. I even did an oil blotting paper test about 10 seconds after application, and there was no excess oil! The scent is so strong it gives me a headache. It might be okay to use on legs or arms instead of the face. - so***Normal SkinSep 3, 2021
The fragrance seems lovely, which makes sense since it was created by a perfumer. I didn't find anything particularly outstanding or disappointing about it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 14, 2021
As the name suggests, it's a perfumed sun essence, so the fragrance was lovely. I decided to try it since I'm a regular user of Angel's Laboratory Artois body products. While I love their body products, and this sun essence absorbs well and spreads easily, the eye irritation was so severe that I couldn't even apply it. It's a shame! Those with sensitive eyes should avoid this product! - po*****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedAug 13, 2021
Texture: Despite its high SPF, it has a refreshing essence-like texture, not thick as I expected. It applies smoothly and absorbs quickly! Scent: As someone sensitive to fragrances, I was worried about the perfume essence scent. However, the subtle freesia floral aroma is delightful. It's amazing how it doesn't have that typical sunscreen smell! I love the scent so much that I'm even using it as a hand cream, just to sniff it more. Finish: Right after application, it felt a bit sticky, but once absorbed, my skin felt soft and powdery. It's best to apply this after your skincare products have fully absorbed. Eye Sensitivity: My eyes are quite sensitive and often sting when I apply sunscreen, but this product was fine! Drawback: I discovered a flaw after using it for a while. Due to its softer texture, when stored upside down, the product leaks into the cap. I hope this gets improved in the future.
