At first, it's a bit tricky to control the amount. When spraying the product on the scalp with the dropper, it's hard to see, so if you accidentally pour too much in one spot, it takes a while to absorb. Luckily, even if you pour too much in one area, it doesn't make your hair greasy. Once you get used to it, you can easily control the amount by gently dropping it along the part lines, and it absorbs quickly.

First of all, the fragrance of this product is amazing. It has a very sophisticated and neutral Genesis fragrance, and the longevity is incredible. The fragrance lasts until the next time you wash your hair!! With a slightly viscous texture, it provides a moisturizing feeling for the scalp, which seems to help with sebum control. Normally, my scalp would get oily within 24 hours after washing, but after using this product, my scalp remains quite fresh and comfortable even as 24 hours approach. It helps manage scalp oil, so I also feel like my hair loss is a bit less. The amount is huge, so you can even use it as a hair essence by applying it lightly to your hair. I recommend this to anyone who struggles with dry scalp or scalp flakiness! It provides great moisture without any oiliness!
And since the fragrance lasts so long, I even feel a bit more confident about the scent at the crown of my head haha.

I haven't used it for long, so I'm not sure, but I don't think there's much volume increase.

The fragrance is strong but pleasant. It's similar to the scent commonly referred to as 'ajusshi skin care', but with a more refined feel.

I applied it focused on my bangs, and it got clumpy, so I'm applying it evenly now

Kérastase is so good that I stock up when there are discounts.
Genesis feels the most mainstream, and the scent is not like the usual shampoo scent - it's sophisticated and neutral, so I miss it when I don't have it.
I was going to buy the Potentialiste, but the Genesis serum was on sale, so I purchased that instead.

After shampooing and just blotting the hair, apply the serum on the scalp like you would apply a serum, then do a scalp massage before drying your hair. This will leave your scalp moisturized and give a nice volumizing effect on the roots.

I was using Kérastase products, but as winter came, my scalp started to get dry and flaky. I decided to try this scalp serum instead of changing my shampoo. The itchiness from dryness was relieved, and the occasional white flakes also subsided. Even on days when I couldn't wash my hair, the dryness and itchiness were relieved by using this. Surprisingly, it manages to control oil while also providing moisture, and after drying my hair, it gives a volumizing effect on the roots.
