Once you get used to it, you can skillfully control the amount, dropping it along your part for quicker absorption.

First off, the fragrance of this product is absolutely delightful. It's an incredibly sophisticated and unisex Genesis scent with remarkable staying power. The aroma lingers until your next hair wash! The slightly viscous formula gives a distinct feeling of moisturizing the scalp, which seems to help with sebum control. Usually, my hair gets greasy before 24 hours, but with this product, my scalp feels fresh and comfortable even as it approaches the 24-hour mark. By managing scalp oiliness, it seems to reduce hair fall too. The bottle is generously sized, so you can even apply a bit to your hair as a substitute for hair essence - it works great! I highly recommend this for anyone dealing with a dry scalp or stressed about scalp flakiness. It provides serious hydration without any oiliness! Also, since the scent lasts so long, it gives you a bit more confidence about your scalp odor.

The scent is strong but pleasant. It's similar to what people often call 'old man cologne,' but with a more refined touch.

When I applied it heavily to my bangs, it made them greasy, so now I make sure to distribute it evenly.

Kérastase products are consistently excellent, so I always stock up when there are discounts. Genesis has a more mainstream appeal, with a sophisticated and gender-neutral scent that's unlike typical shampoo fragrances - I find myself missing it when I'm out. After shampooing and just blotting the hair, apply the serum on the scalp like you would apply a serum, then do a scalp massage before drying your hair. This will leave your scalp moisturized and give a nice volumizing effect on the roots.

Surprisingly, it manages to control oil while also providing moisture, and after drying my hair, it gives a volumizing effect on the roots.
