It's not very smooth and has a slightly sticky feel, so the initial impression isn't great (but it surprisingly adheres well once applied). It would have been even better if the application felt smoother.

Where does this makeup base, primer, and cream fall in the lineup? If you apply it before makeup, your makeup will be 100% successful that day. They say it's okay to apply it in the evening, but there's a pinkish particle like a sunscreen, so I feel like my skin won't be able to rest, so I only apply it in the morning. It seems to do more of a primer-like function of giving radiance and elasticity rather than just simple moisturizing. The fantastic branding that feels like something Barbie girls or Hollywood actresses would use is really nice.

As someone with oily skin, I usually only apply creams in the winter season and at night, and right after serum but before sunscreen in the morning. However, this product is so well-known as a makeup-friendly item that I wanted to try using it as a base cream before makeup.
The texture is quite rich, so I was worried it might be too heavy for my oily skin before applying. But to my surprise, it absorbed smoothly and evenly, without feeling overly rich or nourishing like a night cream. A small amount can cover the entire face, and it leaves a unique, bouncy finish that's not silicone-like, but also not as dewy as an essence-type primer.
It doesn't exactly fill in pores, but it seems to gently smooth out the skin's texture, helping my foundation or cushion apply more seamlessly. Even after a few hours, I didn't experience excessive oil buildup or separation, and it actually helped extend the wear of my initial makeup application.
This cream seems best suited for use as a pre-makeup or pre-suncare step, rather than a nighttime moisturizer. It should work well across different skin types - for oily skin like mine, a light serum plus this 'magic cream' is sufficient, while drier skin types could use it as a final nourishing step before sunscreen.

The only downside is that it doesn't come with a spatula. Since the texture is quite thick and buttery, it's a bit tricky to scoop out with just your fingers.

However, in the winter when my cheeks tend to lean more dry, I didn't find it to be overly greasy except in the T-zone area. I felt the cream had good moisturizing properties. I often use a semi-matte foundation in the winter, and I found this cream paired well with it.
Using a matte foundation in the winter can sometimes emphasize flakiness, but this 'magic cream' really prevented any pilling or separation, allowing for a smooth, seamless skin finish, just as the name suggests!! 
At night, this product had enough moisturizing power that I could use it alone with a serum for my nighttime routine.
Even with my acne-prone skin, I didn't experience any additional breakouts after using this cream. My cheeks felt soft and supple even after cleansing in the morning.
