It has excellent moisturizing effects without being overly sticky. Personally, I really like the fragrance. While it's on the pricier side, the effectiveness makes it a great gift option.

Pros
I bought the Aesop Geranium Leaf Body Wash and also got the body balm as a set. In the end, I liked the body balm better than the body wash. Personally, I tend to avoid very rich and heavy moisturizing creams that I have to put on my body (because I have to wear clothes on top). This product, however, provided just the right amount of hydration without feeling sticky, so the usage experience was great. The signature Aesop aroma that brings a sense of calm is an added bonus.
Cons
Considering the price, there are probably cheaper and better products out there, but I keep buying this one because I'm captivated by Aesop's earthy scent and packaging.

Pros
The natural scent inherent to Aesop is so lovely. It's not a common fragrance, but the more you use it, the more you grow to love it. Despite being a body balm, there is absolutely no sticky feeling. It seems like it would be good to apply, except during the winter. It would be great if the scent lingered on the body for a long time.
Cons
Compared to other body balms, it has a very matte feeling. In the winter, when my skin tends to get quite dry, I don't think I'd be able to use it. And when applied, the matte feeling gives a slightly scratchy sensation. (It's definitely not a soft, smooth feeling)
