It instantly moisturizes the skin without feeling greasy, and the hydration doesn't evaporate quickly. Usually, products with just moisture dry out fast, and those with oils can leave a greasy residue later. This one strikes the perfect balance - it retains moisture without leaving an oily film. That's the feeling I got when applying it. Plus, thanks to its great ingredients, I didn't need an adjustment period like I usually do when switching cosmetics. No breakouts or skin reactions - it was great to use right away! While it's truly hydrating and the moisture lasts quite well, as someone with extremely dry skin who needs shea butter even in summer, it didn't quite replace my shea butter-infused creams in terms of long-lasting hydration. However, unless you have severe dry skin like mine (I have psoriasis), this should be suitable for most people with dry skin.

I love its non-runny, bouncy texture that leaves a silky finish when applied. It's like a lightweight primer that seems to smooth out skin texture. It provides lasting hydration without any tightness. The scent is nearly undetectable, and the tube packaging makes it easy to control the amount and use hygienically. You'll need to adjust the amount based on your skin's condition. At first, I applied too little, worried about pilling, which led to some tightness. Using about a pinky nail-sized amount made it feel more comfortable.

In summer, I usually shy away from heavy moisturizers, but my face tends to feel tight by afternoon after a long day of work with makeup on. This product has a similar texture to the Madecassoside gel from a certain brand, but it absorbs instantly without leaving any film. It's perfect for busy mornings when I'm short on time - I can apply sunscreen and pat on my cushion foundation right after, with no pilling or separation. I was initially skeptical about its hydration power due to its texture, but even after working overtime, my skin felt comfortable with no tightness. It provides deep hydration and even smoothed out those tiny bumps that appear when my skin is dry! Even with the most hydrating products, I never had enough time in the mornings to let them fully absorb, so by afternoon, the skin around my eyes and mouth would feel tight, dry, and my makeup would start to lift. But this cream, despite its light texture, must pack an incredible amount of hydration! And no matter how good a product is, if it's inconvenient to use, I tend to neglect it. But this one comes in a tube instead of a jar, making it so easy to use. Once I finish this, I'd definitely consider buying it with my own money! I honestly can't think of any downsides. If I had to nitpick, I wish it came in a larger size! Overall, after applying it all over, I add a bit extra to particularly dry areas. Even with makeup on for nearly 15 hours, I don't feel any tightness and my makeup doesn't lift at all!
