Though it's thin, it has a slight consistency that allows it to spread smoothly on the skin and absorbs without any stickiness. There's a slightly rich feel, but it's not heavy. It leaves just a hint of glow on the skin, so I could use it in the morning without worry. After absorption, my skin felt firm and hydrated, which was quite satisfying for my dry skin. The scent has Huxley's signature cool and unique fragrance, which might be an acquired taste for some. The oil essence doesn't really feel oily. It has good absorption and a nice fragrance. It has a finish similar to that of cosmetics containing silicone. It's fine to use except in the depths of winter and summer. While it's called an oil essence, it's not enough during the cold winter. Even in the transitional seasons, just using this alone leaves me feeling dry. It's a product with some shortcomings.
