But wow, the Huxley moisturizer is light, hydrating, and makes my skin feel so comfortable! I'm on my third bottle now. It seems perfect for summer use, and in winter, I layered it twice for extra hydration!
ConsThe scent is quite unique. It's a natural fragrance, but I think it might be a love-it-or-hate-it situation for most people.

The scent was to my liking, so I felt good throughout the entire time I was using it. It's a unique fragrance common to Huxley brand products - a herbal yet floral scent that's both charming and comforting. It has a gel-cream texture that applies incredibly smoothly. It glides on the skin effortlessly, leaving it feeling hydrated. It's a moisturizer that fills your skin with hydration while having a slightly bouncy texture. The feel is lightweight, not heavy at all, and it doesn't leave any stickiness behind, making it feel fresh. It absorbs well into the skin without feeling like it's sitting on top, making it quite a satisfying gel-type moisturizer.
ConsI have dry skin and used this in the morning before applying makeup, but at night I used a more nourishing cream than this moisturizer. While it's great for use in summer, I feel its lightweight nature might not be sufficient for winter use.

It provides intense hydration to the skin. Prickly pear seed oil: Soothes problematic and blemish-prone skin. Bamboo sap: Conditions the skin and helps prevent aging. Portulaca oleracea extract: Calms allergic reactions and has anti-cancer and antibacterial properties. Acorus calamus root/stem extract: Improves blood circulation and imparts a subtle fragrance. Citrus nobilis (mandarin orange) seed extract: Adds a natural scent to cosmetics and tightens pores. Helps create firmer skin. Perilla frutescens leaf extract: Protects the skin and promotes a vibrant complexion. Beta-glucan: Reduces blood cholesterol and improves lipid metabolism. Hydrolyzed jojoba esters: Smoothens and softens skin texture. Propanediol: A moisturizing ingredient made from fermented corn, acts as a humectant, solvent, viscosity regulator, and preservative. Palmitic acid: Excellent for emulsion stability. Protects the skin surface and enhances moisture retention. The Huxley Cream Fresh and More product seems to prioritize the skin's inherent value, as suggested by Huxley, with its abundance of naturally-derived ingredients. However, it's disappointing that there are also many ingredients to be cautious about, as I'll discuss below.
ConsIngredients that may not be suitable for sensitive skin: Dimethicone: A silicone-based ingredient. Cyclopentasiloxane: Used as a hair conditioner and skin emollient. Polysorbate 20, 60, and 80: Used as fragrances, surfactants, and solubilizers. Carbomer: May potentially contain benzene. PEG-40 Stearate: Contains PEG compounds. Phenoxyethanol: A chemical preservative. While ingredients like carbomer, PEG, and phenoxyethanol require special attention, dimethicone and cyclopentasiloxane are particularly concerning despite their common use in many cosmetics. Dimethicone is a synthetic silicone oil derived from petroleum. It's typically used in cosmetics as an anti-foaming agent, moisture barrier, and skin protectant. Products containing dimethicone are often praised for their smooth texture and improved adherence. However, its quick absorption is actually due to it dispersing into the air rather than being absorbed by the skin. This gives the illusion of short-term benefits. Moreover, dimethicone is known to potentially interfere with skin respiration and affect hormone function. While some may argue that small amounts are harmless, it's important to note that exact ingredient quantities in cosmetics are not disclosed due to lack of labeling requirements. Therefore, I don't recommend products with ingredients that have strict quantity limitations. Pregnant women should be especially cautious. Cyclopentasiloxane is also a silicone-based ingredient and has already been classified as harmful in Europe. Since these two ingredients are commonly found in many products, I strongly advise checking the full ingredient list when choosing cosmetics.
TipThe product has a refreshing scent. It has a gel-like texture with an opaque white color. Personally, I find that the slippery feeling lingers a bit longer than expected.

I had already decided on something else, but this was so appealing it changed my mind. My previous cream was too heavy for summer, but this one is light and absorbs well. The gel-like texture spreads easily, and it comes with a built-in spatula which is convenient.
ConsHowever, it can dry out quickly when exposed to air conditioning or fan breezes, which can make the skin feel tight and dry. If used alone, it might be better suited for those with oily skin. As I have combination skin, I'm using it with an essence for longer-lasting hydration. Also, those sensitive to fragrances might have mixed feelings about it. I found it a bit strong at first, but I've gotten used to it now.

With my combination skin, I usually experience tightness when it's dehydrated, and my T-zone gets oily with whiteheads. On the other hand, if I use something too rich, my skin goes into oil overdrive, leading to clogged pores and blemishes. It's been tough finding my holy grail skincare, but this product seems to strike the perfect oil and moisture balance for combination to oily skin types. - It's a gel-type moisturizer - Absorbs quickly, providing enough hydration to make your skin feel comfortable - The finish is moisturizing without being greasy or sticky, and it pairs well with hydrating base makeup - There's a pleasant floral scent that's not artificial at all! - Compared to toners or essences, the price point is quite good at 35,000 won (There are many affordable toners and essences out there, but this cream is definitely worth the price)
ConsThe store accessibility isn't great. I'd recommend purchasing online and taking advantage of the current event to get some samples!
TipFor those with dry skin, you might want to try the 'More Than Moist Cream'. If you have sensitive skin, the 'Anti-Gravity' line could be a good option to explore.
