Both my skin and scalp produce excessive oil, so thorough cleansing is crucial to prevent clogged pores and scalp blemishes. That's why I shampoo twice daily. Most commercial shampoos cause hundreds of painful, red, pustular blemishes on my neck, hairline, and scalp due to irritating ingredients. So I've been using baby shampoos free of irritants and fragrances. The issue with baby shampoos is that while they don't cause blemishes, you sacrifice cleansing power and lasting effects. Even shampooing twice daily can't control my oily scalp, and without fragrance, the scalp odor persists. After years of searching as a 'shampoo nomad,' I finally found this shampoo on Hwahae for sensitive, oily skin. Eureka! 1. Cleansing Effectiveness: ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I'm moved to tears by how well it cleanses despite its gentle ingredients. I can't stand my oily scalp and odor, so I've always shampooed twice daily, even with regular shampoos. With this one, once a day is truly enough. Oil still forms on my scalp, but it's the least among hundreds of shampoos I've tried. Even 10 hours after washing, there's barely any oil when I rub my scalp. 2. Scent: ❤❤❤️❤️ I'm sensitive to fragrances and don't use perfume. I check all products for fragrances due to allergies. This has a natural, not artificial, scent. I love that my hair doesn't smell strongly of shampoo afterward. Yet it effectively eliminates scalp odor. It's the best I've used for controlling scalp smell. It doesn't make your scalp fragrant, but those with oily scalps know that musty odor that creeps up. With baby shampoos, the smell would return after 2 hours, making windy commutes unbearable. With this product, a slight scalp odor only appears after 4-5 hours. I'm truly grateful for this. 3. Lather and Texture: ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I have very thick, shoulder-length hair. This shampoo has a honey-like consistency that doesn't drip, which is great. Two pumps create enough lather for my whole head, despite my thick hair. It foams well and feels wonderful. 4. Ingredients: ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I can't praise this enough. Absolutely no blemishes. No scalp tightness or pain. No eye irritation. I'm amazed at how this is possible with these ingredients every time I use it. Admittedly, it's on the pricey side for 450ml. I've used it all up and I must say, the scent is absolutely delightful. It seems to contain only high-quality ingredients, as I experienced no side effects. What's great is that it didn't cause any blemishes or inflammation on my scalp. The generous amount lasted me about a month. Most importantly, I noticed less hair fall. While it may vary from person to person, I found the fragrance to be incredibly pleasant. However, I probably won't repurchase it. My scalp is combination type. # Packaging It feels like they've put thought into the container. It's not too thin plastic, nor is it a fragile material that breaks easily, which I appreciate. The product has a slightly thick consistency, so sometimes it's a bit tricky to pump out. # Cleansing Effectiveness The cleansing power seems good. They say your hair becomes so soft after washing that you don't need conditioner, but maybe because of the natural ingredients, my hair feels quite stiff while washing... # Lather Despite the hair feeling stiff, it lathers up amazingly well! # Fragrance The scent is a bit hard to describe - it's a unique aroma. However, it's neither strong nor unpleasant! # Ingredients The ingredients are truly top-notch! My hair feels very stiff when rinsing... It does become soft again once it's dry, but because it's so stiff while rinsing, I'm losing quite a bit of hair. And it's quite expensive too... The Ovegan shampoo is truly trustworthy as it doesn't use any animal-derived ingredients and wasn't developed through animal testing. That's a big plus in my book! One of its major advantages is that it's an all-in-one product. You can use it as both a shampoo and body wash, which is super convenient! The fragrance was surprisingly pleasant, and the consistency wasn't too runny, making it easy to use without any hassle. The ingredients are so gentle that I could use it on my scalp without any worries about irritation. After using it, my scalp felt refreshed and great! The price is definitely the downside. It's quite expensive, unfortunately. Since the Ovegan shampoo is a bit pricey to use all over your body, I'd recommend focusing on using it on your scalp and only applying it to other areas when necessary. I'm thrilled that I can use this shampoo with peace of mind for my face, hair, and entire body. It doesn't cause any blemishes on my face (I have thin, dry skin). It lathers well and has excellent cleansing effectiveness. After shampooing, when I rinse the water towards the drain, there's no slimy, mucus-like residue left behind. The drain odor is also noticeably reduced. I've tried countless highly-rated shampoos, but nothing compares to this! I can confidently recommend it to others. It's especially great for women with short hair or men - it gives the hair such strength! After shampooing long hair, it can feel stiff at first, and those with very damaged ends might experience tangling. However, if you carefully detangle and blow-dry, it actually turns out quite nice (For those with short hair, including men, it adds strength and is even better). Obigen has recently launched a treatment product. Using the Obigen shampoo and treatment as a set is a perfect match! Your hair won't tangle, it becomes soft, and has a beautiful shine. It absolutely doesn't weigh your hair down. It makes me feel fantastic! While I used to be cautious about other treatments touching my scalp, with this product, you can confidently apply it to your scalp. You can even leave the lather on your head for over 10 minutes while brushing your teeth without any scalp issues. As someone with psoriatic scalp, I've tried almost every product out there that's supposed to be good. But since discovering Obean, I no longer need prescriptions from the dermatologist. It's truly outstanding! There's nothing particularly bad to mention, so I'm not sure what to write... While I appreciate the eco-friendly packaging, I'm concerned that it might lead to higher labor costs, which is a bit disappointing. This vegan, all-in-one shampoo is great for the whole family. It lathers well when washing, and while the hair feels a bit stiff when wet, it becomes beautifully bouncy once dry. As someone with seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp, this is the first shampoo that works well without needing to use Nizoral. It lathers nicely when washing, and although the hair feels stiff when wet, it becomes silky smooth once dry. It even leaves the skin feeling soft and fresh. This shampoo works for everything - face wash, body shower, and even for pets. It's quite versatile and effective.
