  Pros

  It's great at removing dead skin cells. Plus, it leaves your skin feeling quite moisturized. When you apply makeup afterwards, it goes on smoothly and adheres well.

  Cons

  Perhaps due to its thin consistency, the hydration doesn't last very long. Also, if you rub it too vigorously, it can cause irritation.

  Pros

  1. You can use both sides - one for exfoliation and one for hydration. After cleansing, I use the soft side to moisturize without drying, then gently wipe with the exfoliating side to refine skin texture and remove dead skin cells. It's very economical to use both sides of a single pad. 2. There's a generous amount of toner. It's so saturated it almost drips! This high essence-toner content means you can really maximize use of both sides. Even when using the exfoliating side a second time, it didn't irritate my skin. 3. The tweezers are a great feature. This is the only toner I use with tweezers. There's a small groove in the lid to store them. Keeping the tweezers separate from the pads is hygienic, and it's satisfying to use the same pair throughout the whole container instead of constantly throwing them away. 4. My skin around the mouth is sensitive and often gets red and puffy with exfoliation, but these pads never caused that reaction. Even using the exfoliating side was gentle. After finishing the pads, I found the exfoliating side great for removing sebum inside my ears too. 5. I appreciate that the scent isn't overpowering. It's very mild.

  Cons

  1. The pads are quite small. Are they only 5cm in diameter? Either my face is big or these aren't suitable as sheet masks. They're not cheap, but sometimes I need to use two. I really wish they were larger - this was the biggest inconvenience. 2. If they were going for a lightweight container, they should have used a label-free design. The current look makes these high-quality pads seem cheap. 3. They're too expensive. If they dropped the price by $5-7, I'd consider repurchasing.

  Tip

  I also use the gauze side to refine the skin on my neck. After using them morning and night for 3 weeks, I noticed the rough patches gradually becoming smoother.

  The Hwahae Testers Review: Skin type: Dry I love that the scent isn't irritating and the pads are gentle on the skin! It's great for refining skin texture instead of using toner! It's convenient and effective for hydration and exfoliating dead skin cells!! Even with my sensitive skin, I haven't experienced any blemishes and I'm using it well as part of my daily routine!

  Cons

  I've tried pads from three different brands, but nothing stands out as particularly better. As expected from pads, they do well in refining skin texture and exfoliating, but I can't say there's anything noticeably impressive. I think I'll need to use the entire container to really tell.

  Pros

  I love the ingredients and everything about this product, but I'm especially impressed with the texture and material of the pads. I wish they were available for separate purchase! They're thin, adhere well to the skin, and the gauze texture is perfect for exfoliating dead skin cells. They're ideal for facial use, but I think it would be great if they came in a larger, thicker version for body use, particularly for those with keratosis pilaris. There's a slight herbal scent, but it's not overpowering. The pads are moisturizing and do an excellent job of smoothing out rough patches on the cheeks and forehead.

  Cons

  Although there's a tweezer attached inside the lid, I find myself just using my hands to grab the pads because it's easier. The lid closure is quite weak, so when I left it on my bed, some of the contents leaked out. While these toner pads are generally convenient for travel, I wouldn't feel comfortable packing this particular product in my luggage due to the risk of leakage.

  Tip

  These pads work quite well for keratosis pilaris, making them suitable for body use too. However, when using them on the body, the thinness of the pads causes them to curl up quickly.

  I really liked how it gently yet effectively removes dead skin cells. After cleansing with a cleansing water and gel, using this exfoliating toner with a pad allows for daily dead skin cell management without needing a separate peeling gel. The effectiveness of exfoliation largely depends on the type of pad used, and this one works quite well.

  Cons

  I haven't found any significant drawbacks yet. I'll update if I notice any areas for improvement after using the entire bottle.

  Tip

  Since dead skin cells tend to accumulate around the nose and chin areas, I recommend gently wiping these areas using the pad wrapped around your index and middle fingers. This method works really well for removing dead skin cells.

  The exfoliating side of the pad is great for removing dead skin cells! Being a cica product, it's safe to use on acne-prone areas. I love how generously soaked it is with essence or toner. It's perfect for a quick skin pack or as part of your daily mask routine.

  First off, my skin type is combination-oily and sensitive. Ever since I started wearing masks, my skin has been prone to breakouts, so I've been extra careful with skincare products. I typically use toner pad products like this about two to three times a week, mainly for exfoliating dead skin cells and removing residue. Texture: The texture is light and moisturizing, similar to applying a toner. As a result, it absorbs fairly quickly. Ingredients: I'm a big fan of the Cica Metal Cream from the same line, so unsurprisingly, the Cica Metal Calming Pad also worked well for me. After use, I didn't experience any redness or blemishes. Convenience: On days when I'm too lazy to apply toner, or when I'm worried about leftover eye makeup, this product conveniently allows me to clean up everything in one swipe.

  Cons

  - Pad size: As a regular user of Skinfood's Carrot Pad, I found the thickness and size of these pads a bit disappointing. However, I appreciated that the container had plenty of essence. - Pad texture: While it's great that the pad is double-sided, allowing you to choose your preferred level of exfoliation, I felt that even the soft side was rougher compared to other brands' products. - Effectiveness: While it did a good job of removing makeup residue and gave a sense of cleansing after washing, I didn't notice any dramatic effects like sudden improvement in blemishes or significantly smoother skin texture. I'm not sure if I'll repurchase this product. There are so many excellent pad products available on the market. Also, I didn't find the ingredients to be exceptionally impressive, which was a bit disappointing. However, I did feel confident using it because it's from a trusted brand.

  Tip

  It's recommended not to use too many skincare products with the same ingredients (for example, using cica toner, cica essence, and cica cream together). So when I use this cica pad, I make sure to adjust my routine by using a cream that focuses more on hydration, paying attention to balancing the ingredients in my skincare regimen.
