I usually clean those areas well when showering or washing my face, but using the pad for an extra cleanse felt incredibly invigorating. - I really appreciated the included tweezers, which meant I didn't have to touch the pads with my hands.
Cons- The pads were too small, requiring at least two for each cheek. They also kept slipping out of my hands while wiping, and felt somewhat rough on my slightly sensitive skin! After using them, I noticed a significant increase in blemishes, especially around my chin area. While I'm not sure if it was due to wearing a mask, I thought these pads were supposed to help calm existing blemishes, not cause new ones. It seems they didn't effectively prevent breakouts as I had expected.
Tip- It's said that keeping skin temperature low can slow down aging, so applying these cool pads when your face feels hot seems beneficial, almost like using a mask. - As someone with dry skin all over, including dry eyes and nose, I often placed the pads over my eyes too. I've heard that when eye temperature is high, the inside of the nose can quickly become dry. - I typically do a double cleanse, but I've heard that using these pads for an additional wipe is essentially a third cleanse. While thorough cleansing is good, doing a triple cleanse daily might be too harsh on the skin. It might be better to use these pads only on specific days or when wearing heavy makeup to avoid over-cleansing and irritation.

I use it after showering, followed by dabbing around the edges of my face. The cooling effect is absolutely spot-on. My face tends to get quite hot, but even when it flares up, applying this really helps. I was planning to buy this product anyway, so I was thrilled to be selected as one of The Hwahae Testers!
ConsI'm not sure if it's this product or a new cleansing oil I started using, but something's not right. Suddenly, my skin is producing excess oil, so I've had to stop using it. Unfortunately, this brand's cica line doesn't seem to agree with me, and I was hoping the pads would be different. But alas, my skin reacted badly again. After discontinuing both the cleansing oil and these pads, my skin has improved. I'll give the pads another try once my skin calms down.
TipKeeping it in the fridge makes it wonderfully cool and refreshing to use!

It's especially effective in smoothing out areas with excess sebum, improving skin texture. This is the third pad product I've tried, including those from other brands, and I liked that it came with tweezers, making it more hygienic. The essence is hydrating, and the pads are on the larger side. While the material itself isn't particularly soft, the ample essence seems to prevent any irritation or rough feeling. I also liked the simple container design. Pad products tend to run out quickly once opened, but this one has a generous amount. It's definitely convenient for a quick cleanse when getting ready for work or after coming home.
ConsThis product might be irritating for those with extremely sensitive or inflamed skin. In my case, while it was fine on areas with blemishes, I definitely felt a burning and tingling sensation when using it on areas that were starting to develop dermatitis.
TipFor those with oily skin and active sebum production, this product is great for cleansing not just the face, but also behind the ears and neck, leaving a refreshing and clean feeling.
