This product is fantastic as it works wonderfully as a moisturizing lip balm while also providing a beautiful color. It has MAC's signature subtle fragrance. Unfortunately, the staying power is lower than expected and it tends to wear off easily. - ah******Combination SkinRecommendedOct 2, 2024
MAC really knows how to make lip products! The design is pretty, and it's so moisturizing. It gives just enough of a natural glow that you could wear it alone, but I love a pop of color, so I used it as a base. It's great! The scent is also pleasantly sweet. There wasn't anything particularly disappointing about it... I received MAC's Glow Play Lip Balm as a gift from my sister! It gives such a natural 'no-makeup makeup' look. While the moisturizing effect isn't extraordinary, I don't mind reapplying whenever I feel like it. I love how it keeps my lips hydrated and gives that effortlessly made-up appearance. There's nothing bad to say! This lip balm alone gives you that perfect 'I woke up like this' natural look. If you want more color, try applying a tint first, then layer this lip balm on top for a great effect. Applying this MAC lip balm over a tint works wonders!

I highly recommend it for both cool and warm skin tones. It's truly one of my go-to lip products! The bottom of the case gets scratched way too easily. It's that nostalgic light pink shade, reminiscent of the lip gloss we used to apply to our blonde dolls' lips when we were little. While it might show up true to color on fairer lips, it doesn't quite achieve that strawberry milk shade on pigmented lips. Still, it's pretty. It's incredibly moisturizing and perfect for achieving that juicy, glazed lip look. The color applies naturally for a beautiful tint. The staying power is excellent, so the only downside is the price.

It serves as a nice base when applying matte lipsticks. The color payoff is disappointingly minimal. There must be a reason they differentiated the shades, but it's barely noticeable. It feels like it gently coats the skin and keeps it moisturized for a long time There's hardly any color payoff, and it doesn't seem to deeply penetrate the skin for intense hydration
