ProsUsage Experience:
The application feels light and doesn't make your hair sticky! It doesn't harden immediately after spraying, maintaining some moisture, so you need to gently style it with your hands for proper setting.
Highly recommended for those in service jobs or who need to maintain their appearance! It styles hair well, dissolves easily in water, and before washing your hair, you can simply run your fingers through your scalp and gently shake to loosen the product.
Longevity:
It has great staying power. I've worn it through 10-hour work shifts with no issues. To enhance the hold, I spray this first, then use an aerosol aluminum hair spray for a final touch, followed by blow-drying - this makes it last even longer.
Overall Impression:
The scent is subtle and pleasant, likely to suit most people. If you're experiencing hair loss due to frequent styling, this product is a must-try!
ConsFirst off, being Aveda, it's on the pricier side, and the spray amount per use is quite generous. I sometimes decant it into a smaller spray bottle for more controlled use. However, for a water spray, it's great as it doesn't make your hair heavy or sticky.
If you're looking to use it as a volume fixer, I'd suggest using very small amounts from a decanted bottle. It's not recommended as a dedicated volume fixer!
TipAfter spraying, lightly blow-dry your hair. This will help it set quickly, increase hold, and create beautiful volume!
