ProsThe best thing about this product is its gentle base made with safe ingredients, avoiding harmful substances. I was intrigued by its cruelty-free and vegan certifications. When you sign up, you can receive a sample kit, which I tried. Unfortunately, none of the sample shades matched me perfectly. C0 was too pale, and N1 was too yellow, so after some deliberation, I bought N0, thinking it might be in between. I'm happy with the color - while not perfect, it looks natural! It's a subtly luminous ivory shade that blends seamlessly. The consistency isn't too thick, and the glow isn't overwhelming. It's not exactly hydrating, but it doesn't dry out the skin either. The adherence and fixing power are decent - it absorbs comfortably but may transfer slightly. It's not high coverage at all, just a bit more polished than a brightening moisturizer. Once applied, it just looks like my own skin - like my face right after washing, on a day when my complexion is at its best, with just sunscreen on. This would suit someone looking for a natural, everyday base rather than someone wanting perfect coverage and long-lasting wear. As someone who values comfort and safety, I'm satisfied! Usually, I'm too lazy to do more than apply sunscreen, and even when I feel like wearing makeup and dab on some cushion foundation, I often find myself washing it off because my face looks odd or unnatural. ConsIt would be helpful if we could choose all 6 shades in the sample kit for easier comparison and selection. I had to guess that N0 might work for me since C0 and N1 didn't, but I wasn't sure until I unboxed it. If you don't prep your skin properly, you might experience some pilling. If you find yourself wanting to layer this product or increase its coverage, you might be better off choosing a higher coverage option.
TipAlthough I've written some complaints, this is actually the best foundation I've ever tried (and I haven't tried many). It's my top pick by far.
