At first, you might think it's a masculine fragrance reminiscent of red ginseng candy. But as time passes, it evolves into a sweet gourmand scent with a slightly warm feel. On my skin, it finishes with a cozy sensation. The longevity is excellent, and the sillage is impressive. I believe this perfume can be confidently worn as a unisex fragrance. The only disappointment is the price. Even on the second-hand market, it's not exactly affordable. While it's nice to spray on clothes, applying it directly to your skin will truly allow you to appreciate the fragrance's full potential. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 27, 2023
A delightful blend of chocolate, coffee, and a hint of rum. It's wonderfully sweet but not cloying, exuding an air of sophistication. There's also a subtle nutty undertone. While the top notes might tempt you to use it as a clothing fragrance, I recommend applying it directly to the skin to fully appreciate the delicate sandalwood notes that emerge upon contact. Both longevity and sillage are top-tier within the Kilian range. As with all Kilian fragrances, the price point is undeniably steep. Given the unique bottle design, reselling can be challenging. Your best bet might be to look for duty-free opportunities. This scent truly shines after sunset rather than during daylight hours. Layering with other fragrances is not recommended. - mu****Oily SkinAcne SkinJun 8, 2022
One of the most disappointing fragrances I've encountered... With a name like Black Phantom, I expected something sophisticated and mysterious. Reviews suggested it would smell like a well-dressed man exuding sensuality, but it didn't quite match that description for me. Throughout the fragrance trail, all I got was an intensely sweet caramel scent with a hint of chocolate. My first thought was just how overwhelmingly sweet it was! The sweetness was so pronounced it felt almost sticky. If a person wore this, I think it would be quite off-putting. Perhaps it's because I'm not particularly fond of gourmand scents... It's excessively sweet and cloying, to the point of being sickening. The overpowering caramel note dominates everything, leaving no room to detect any coffee or rum notes. For me, it completely misses the mark suggested by its name. Where's the Black Phantom? I couldn't sense anything sensual about it - it's just sweet, sweet, and more sweet. If I had to imagine a scenario where this fragrance might work, it would have to be on someone like David Gandy, Sean O'Pry, or Rihanna - you know what I mean? Only they could possibly pull this off! If you're not a big fan of gourmand fragrances, make absolutely sure to test this one before buying.
