I highly recommend this for those with fine hair - it seems like oil is absolutely essential for them! It's a well-known product, and compared to other budget brand oils, I'm satisfied with how it feels. I've tried many oils that had no effect at all, but this one definitely makes my hair softer after use. Many reviews praised the scent, but to me it smelled like strong perfume. Fortunately, the fragrance dissipates quickly. The oiliness, hydration, and shine are all above average. 1. The generous volume is a plus. 2. The oily texture wraps around each hair cuticle, maintaining its health. 3. It provides just the right amount of shine without making hair look greasy. It's incredibly expensive, expensive, and did I mention expensive? The lasting power isn't particularly impressive. You need to apply it daily for best results. This hair oil delivers noticeable results with just one application. It makes your hair incredibly soft and smooth, eliminating tangles even when you run your fingers through it. While the price point might be the only drawback, I'd rather save up for this Kérastase hair oil than waste money on cheaper, ineffective alternatives.

Since I've had gray hair from an early age, I need to dye it regularly, which always makes me worry about damage. That's why I've tried almost every hair emulsion, serum, and oil out there - I use them religiously after shampooing and before drying. The Kérastase Elixir Ultime Oil is famous, so I've tried both the original and the Imperial Tea versions. Surprisingly, I preferred the Imperial Tea. I thought only the scent would be different, but both the fragrance and texture are quite distinct. I bought it at a salon, where they recommended the Imperial Tea as more suitable for color-treated hair, saying it helps maintain color. Compared to the original, it has a more floral scent, which is lovely. The texture is less sticky and absorbs well, feeling light when applied to the ends. It seems to really improve hair texture too. No wonder it's so popular - there's nothing to dislike about it, and it's truly effective. There's nothing lacking in terms of feel or effectiveness, so why only 4 stars? Well, it's the price... It's beyond expensive. For someone like me who uses hair products daily, the cost feels almost cruel. I used to be able to buy it more affordably through international shopping, but Kérastase Korea or whoever the importer is has even blocked that option. If you get a chance to buy it at a discount, stock up and use it sparingly. Being frugal with it is the real pro tip!

Makes my hair silky smooth and smells wonderful. The best part is that it doesn't make my hair greasy! Even though I have an oily scalp, it's fine to apply it close to the roots. I have thick, very long hair... so I half-dry it, pump this product three times, and apply it thoroughly to the ends - it works like a charm! After fully drying and brushing, my hair texture really improves. Everything's great, but... the price is wicked. This is the best hair oil essence I've used in over a decade. It prevents my hair from getting flat and leaves it incredibly soft after drying. The texture is so silky that I can't stop touching my hair! It can make your hair a bit too sleek, which might cause curls from heat styling to drop faster. Remember to adjust the amount when blow-drying. Even if you use other leave-in treatments or sprays, finishing with this product makes even the most damaged ends feel soft. On days when I've used too much of other products and my hair ends up greasy, this essence gets absorbed completely as I go about my day, eliminating the greasiness and leaving my hair shiny. I love it so much that I'm tempted to try other Kérastase essences too.
