Complexion brightens naturally, perfect UV protection Can pill if applied thickly on dry skin, price is wickedly high Should be applied over well-hydrated skin - yj*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 9, 2024
As someone with dry skin, I loved how moisturizing it felt when applied. There was no clumping or white cast, which was great. It absorbs quickly and doesn't cause any blemishes. The price... oh my. It's wickedly expensive for the amount you get. Aside from the cost, I can't really think of any other downsides. - ji*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 1, 2024
The luxurious Valmont signature scent is abundant, and despite being a mineral sunscreen, it absorbs quickly. It's incredibly gentle on the skin. I bought it during a promotion at the Valmont counter on the first floor of the department store, but even with the discount, it still feels quite expensive. - na******Dehydrated SkinRecommendedJun 13, 2024
I absolutely love it! Everything about it is fantastic. The aromatic scent is divine. It absorbs instantly upon application, disappearing into the skin. While it forms a pearlescent light-reflecting layer on the surface, it doesn't pill but rather sinks in beautifully. This is truly the ultimate sun veil. As an added bonus, I usually apply Dior Prestige sunscreen on top (for a bit of color correction), which tends to pill easily. However, it doesn't pill over this product. Even if I reapply sunscreen later, there's no pilling. It's simply amazing! It's such a shame I've only discovered this now. I wish I had known about it sooner! Make sure to layer it over your skincare routine for best results. - hj******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 25, 2024
It's good, really good, truly amazing! At first, I thought it might be drying, but after applying my skincare routine and using this, I wonder if this sunscreen is actually improving my skin. Gradually, I feel less dryness. It doesn't make me look greasy, just keeps me moisturized. My skin has a pearly glow, and when I reapply, it looks even prettier. It enhances my skin texture beautifully. Instead of caking, it covers imperfections while giving my skin a pearl-like radiance. Is this Valmont's technology? I usually don't wear much base makeup, but with this, I don't need to. It makes my skin look so beautiful... I just need concealer for blemishes. It creates that fresh-faced look after cleansing. I've tried other white brightening moisturizers with SPF because the price is a bit steep, but none were satisfactory. I plan to use this sunscreen for life. My skincare routine remains the same, but applying two pumps of this sunscreen in the morning seems to be making my skin more firm and elastic. The price. Even with department store discounts, it's expensive. Buying from Hong Kong duty-free feels a bit iffy... For extra glow, they recommend applying Regenera II cream before the sunscreen. I'll try that in winter. - ch********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 18, 2024
Absorbs well No eye irritation No pilling Moderate brightening effect The price is undeniably too high... Impossible to check the remaining amount Without any mental preparation It suddenly stops coming out...haha - jj*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 9, 2024
The importance of sun care in protecting your skin during the summer's battle against UV rays cannot be overstated. Valmont's Restoring Perfection is a triple threat, boasting a lightweight application, high UV protection, and anti-aging benefits. It adheres to the skin with a moisturizing effect, without leaving any white cast or patchiness, making it comfortable even with multiple applications. Just one application gives you a natural complexion with a subtle pearlescent glow. The high price point is truly disappointing. It would be great if it were more affordable. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 10, 2023
I'm so satisfied! It gives a soft and natural brightening effect without any eye irritation. It's expensive, expensive, expensive. Very pricey. That's the only drawback. - um****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 6, 2022
The semi-matte texture seems suitable for all skin types. If I had to be picky, it's great to use year-round, except perhaps in winter. It tends to pill if your skincare base isn't perfectly applied... That's really disappointing. To be honest, I used it well at first, but at some point it started pilling badly. It applies moisturizing and absorbs quickly, leaving the skin firm and supple. However, if you apply a light base or don't apply it carefully, it pills like dead skin cells. When I asked at the Valmont counter, they said it's more likely to happen if your skin is dry. They suggested exfoliating well before application to prevent pilling, but it still pills for me. You need to apply this, let it absorb well, and then do your makeup to prevent it from transferring to your mask. When it doesn't pill, it's really nice, but once it starts pilling, there's no solution. Considering the price point, if I had to choose something in a similar range, I'd probably go for Sisley instead. - ur********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 17, 2021
No eye irritation. I switched to this after using Dr. G Green Mild Up, as I couldn't find a place to repurchase it overseas. I'm extremely satisfied with this product. There's nothing particularly bad, but if I had to mention something, maybe the scent? Personally, I'm not a fan of fragranced products.
