Personally, I usually layer it on once or twice for everyday use, and when I want a deeper treatment, I use it with the bubble maker!

There's nothing disappointing about the product itself. However, the container is a bit inconvenient. I wish it came in a pump bottle! They did provide a bubble maker, which I'm using, but it would be great if the original container itself was a pump bottle. I could use the bubble maker when needed and the pump for regular use.

I was tired of toners with purified water as the first ingredient, so I decided to try this one during a crowdfunding campaign. I'm incredibly satisfied! My skin is prone to redness, sensitive to blemishes, and tends to be dry. Even though I've only been using it for about two weeks, I can feel my skin becoming more stable day by day! If I had known it would be this good, I would have backed multiple units during the campaign!

Wiping your face with a toner can actually be quite bad for your pores and skin! I recommend the Basiel Essence Toner, which has a texture closer to an essence. Even just using the toner alone on busy days is great, so I suggest keeping a bottle on your vanity. Highly recommended!!

I was the first to try the cream from the new brand Basiel, and I was so satisfied with the cream that I immediately purchased and tried the toner product as well!! 
First of all, I'm not a fan of watery toner products because I tend to pour out too much when applying to my face. But as soon as I opened the Basiel product, I could tell why they call it an 'essence toner'. The texture is clearly more like an essence than a watery toner - it's full of hyaluronic acid that just floats around! I love the essence-like toner texture!! 
It pairs so well with the Basiel cream I was already using. The toner absorbs into my skin immediately and leaves a gentle, comfortable feeling. Even just using the toner alone, my skin doesn't feel tight or dry. This 'watery' toner is packed with good ingredients, as you'll realize after trying it just once! 
As emphasized multiple times on the product page, the big appeal of this product is that there are absolutely no unnecessary or skin-irritating ingredients. As an expectant mother who is very cautious about what I put on my skin and ingest, this product is just perfect for me. After switching out many of my cleansers and skincare products to find the best options, I've come to fully trust the Basiel brand. I'm looking forward to trying more of their great products in the future!
Receiving the Basiel products always makes me feel like it's an eco-friendly brand. The packaging uses paper tape instead of plastic, and there's paper cushioning instead of bubble wrap. They've also minimized unnecessary plastic packaging for the cosmetics - I really appreciate a brand that considers the environment like this.

In the colder winter months, patting it on 2-3 times can really help address any lingering dryness.

First of all, I'm really sorry for the late review. I had to undergo emergency surgery due to an accident, so I was in a bit of a daze!! I was selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer and received the product, so I've been using it for over a week even while in the hospital!
It's a bit like a runny essence-type toner, so it's better for patting in rather than wiping off. I usually prefer patting, so I used it well.
It's very moisturizing!! I felt it definitely hydrated better than other toners. I think it would be great to use in the winter.
The scent is almost unscented! And I felt it was a gentle, non-irritating product. The ingredients seem good, and it seemed to soothe and calm my slightly sensitive cheeks a bit. If it's discounted, I would definitely consider purchasing it. I think I'll use it well in the winter!

Pros:

- Layering it 2-3 times can effectively address dryness without needing a heavy product

Fully Hydrating Toner
While most toners are moisturizing, they tend to dry out quickly. However, this product has a slightly runny, mucus-like texture that helps deeply infuse the skin with moisture, leaving it supple and hydrated.

Calming Sensitive Skin
As someone with sensitive skin, I sometimes experience redness after cleansing. I usually have to quickly apply a toner to soothe my skin, but this product contains centella extract that helps calm and stabilize the skin, keeping it moisturized.

Fragrance-Free and Gentle
The product also has almost no scent, giving it a very gentle and mild feel, which I really liked!

Normally, I have to wipe the skin with a cotton pad and then apply another product, as the toner gets absorbed quickly. But this one sinks in nicely and keeps the skin hydrated even after just one application.

 Using this toner as a face mask is really great!!! Try applying it as a cold toner pack, it's so refreshing!

I was someone who didn't have skin troubles, but for the past half a year, due to wearing masks, my skin has been completely turned upside down and I was really stressed out... I tried applying soothing essences and doing face masks, but the troubles didn't subside. But after winning this toner and using it for a week, I could visibly see the troubles calming down! I was really surprised to see the reddish blemishes going down. I was even planning to go to a dermatologist, but now I don't think I'll need to.

👍Fragrance-free and non-irritating
I'm really sensitive to scents, and even a little bit of fragrance can bother me a lot. That's why I have a lot of unused cosmetics. But this one has no scent, so it's great to use. When I apply it like a face mask by soaking a cotton pad, the lack of smell is so nice because it's hard to bear if it has a scent. And with my skin troubles being so severe, even a little touch would be painful, but this product didn't sting at all.

I usually use 3-5 toners, but this one gets absorbed completely without any residue or stickiness. The moisture level is also amazing, so using this toner and a moisturizer is enough to keep my skin well-hydrated!

First, I really liked the packaging!
As a design major student, I think packaging plays a big role in purchasing cosmetics, in addition to the ingredients and feel. The container for the Basiel Hydra Barrier Cica Essence Toner has a clean, sophisticated design that I found very pretty when I first received it! It just looks trustworthy at first glance.

This product is unscented, for one. The texture is slightly viscous, as you can see in the photo. So it was definitely more moisturizing than the Cynic toner I had been using before.

Comparing my skin before and after using this, I felt like the texture became more refined. Minor unevenness and small blemishes calmed down, leaving my skin feeling smooth and supple. The redness and heat also seemed to subside. Of course, I haven't used it for a very long time, so this is just my personal experience.😂

If you apply it while your skin is still damp, it works even better, and even after your skin dries, it still keeps it moisturized.

The disappointing part is that I didn't see much of a calming effect.
Rather than a calming effect, it was gentle enough that small pimples didn't spread, and while there wasn't a major effect, it did help small pimples gradually disappear.

The moisturizing effect is really good, and it's excellent for preventing dry skin.
It's very oily and prone to dryness, but with just one application of this cream, I can go for two days without washing my face and still stay hydrated.
And since it's in a liquid form, it's easy to apply! I don't recommend using cotton pads though.

I think it's best to scoop it out and spread it around! I don't really like using pads, so I was trying to apply it with my hands, but since it's an essence formula, it kind of lathers up? I'm not sure what that's about, but I think scooping it out and distributing it is the way to go..

The only downside would be that the price is a bit burdensome ㅠㅠ? Other than that, there's really nothing else I'm unhappy with!!

This was my first time using an essence formula, but my skin didn't feel hot or irritated at all!!! And since cica seems to be just perfect for my skin, when I got some cuts from shaving and had some trouble spots, applying this really helped calm them down quickly.. The effects are great ㅠㅠ

I'd recommend using this as a wipe-off toner rather than just applying it with your hands.
The slight glow it gives is quite pretty when used as a base before makeup.

It's a bit disappointing to see blemishes gradually coming back. If not for that, this toner would have been perfect, especially for the transitional fall season.

First, the suddenly chilly weather made my skin sensitive and a bit stinging, but the toner seemed to help. After using it morning and evening for about a week, the dryness and tightness were almost gone.

The hyaluronic acid ingredient seems to deliver moisture well.
However, if you have an aversion to the slightly sticky feeling, it may be difficult to use.
It doesn't feel sticky once absorbed into the face, but the initial viscosity may be divisive.

As someone with acne-prone skin, I'm a bit particular about the skincare products I use. This product contains centella extract and cica ingredients, but it doesn't seem to control oil very well. Especially in the oily areas, I still tend to get breakouts.
I think the centella extract just doesn't agree with my skin, causing those symptoms.

Also, while it's labeled as a dual-function whitening and anti-aging product, I can't say the effects are outstanding. There are other better products out there for those purposes.

📍In transitional seasons, it can be used alone. In winter, it's good to use after wiping with a toner.
📍On days when your skin needs soothing, it's great to use as a skin pack!

Oily skin may feel a bit heavy when using it in the summer, and it can sting the eyes a little.

Since I have a dehydrated skin type, the toner absorbs well without feeling like it's just sitting on the surface. It's not too heavy for oily skin, and it's perfect for using in the transitional seasons or winter! If you have severely dehydrated skin, using this after wiping would be ideal. It's not too heavy for oily skin and feels clean. 
The 830,000ppm of Byphophyllum extract and the good ingredients seem to help reduce breakouts even during my period.
The opaque bottle and deep green color combination also look so beautiful on my vanity!
