Pros

I was tired of toners with purified water as the first ingredient, so I decided to try this one during a crowdfunding campaign. I'm incredibly satisfied! My skin is prone to redness, sensitive to blemishes, and tends to be dry. Even though I've only been using it for about two weeks, I can feel my skin becoming more stable day by day! If I had known it would be this good, I would have backed multiple units during the campaign!

Cons

There's nothing disappointing about the product itself. However, the container is a bit inconvenient. I wish it came in a pump bottle! They did provide a bubble maker, which I'm using, but it would be great if the original container itself was a pump bottle. I could use the bubble maker when needed and the pump for regular use.

Tip

Personally, I usually layer it on once or twice for everyday use, and when I want a deeper treatment, I use it with the bubble maker!

I was the first to try the cream from the new brand Basiel, and I was so satisfied with the cream that I immediately purchased and tried the toner product as well!! First of all, I'm not a fan of watery toner products because I tend to pour out too much when applying to my face. But as soon as I opened the Basiel product, I could tell why they call it an 'essence toner'. The texture is clearly more like an essence than a watery toner - it's full of hyaluronic acid that just floats around! I love the essence-like toner texture!! It pairs so well with the Basiel cream I was already using. The toner absorbs into my skin immediately and leaves a gentle, comfortable feeling. Even just using the toner alone, my skin doesn't feel tight or dry. This 'watery' toner is packed with good ingredients, as you'll realize after trying it just once! As emphasized multiple times on the product page, the big appeal of this product is that there are absolutely no unnecessary or skin-irritating ingredients. As an expectant mother who is very cautious about what I put on my skin and ingest, this product is just perfect for me. After switching out many of my cleansers and skincare products to find the best options, I've come to fully trust the Basiel brand. I'm looking forward to trying more of their great products in the future! Receiving the Basiel products always makes me feel like it's an eco-friendly brand. The packaging uses paper tape instead of plastic, and there's paper cushioning instead of bubble wrap. They've also minimized unnecessary plastic packaging for the cosmetics - I really appreciate a brand that considers the environment like this.

First of all, I'm really sorry for the late review. I had to undergo emergency surgery due to an accident, so I was in a bit of a daze!! I was selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer and received the product, so I've been using it for over a week even while in the hospital! It's a bit like a runny essence-type toner, so it's better for patting in rather than wiping off. I usually prefer patting, so I used it well. It's very moisturizing!! I felt it definitely hydrated better than other toners. I think it would be great to use in the winter. The scent is almost unscented! And I felt it was a gentle, non-irritating product. The ingredients seem good, and it seemed to soothe and calm my slightly sensitive cheeks a bit. If it's discounted, I would definitely consider purchasing it. I think I'll use it well in the winter! The moisturizing effect is really good, and it's excellent for preventing dry skin. It's very oily and prone to dryness, but with just one application of this cream, I can go for two days without washing my face and still stay hydrated. And since it's in a liquid form, it's easy to apply! I don't recommend using cotton pads though.

Cons

The disappointing part is that I didn't see much of a calming effect. Rather than a calming effect, it was gentle enough that small pimples didn't spread, and while there wasn't a major effect, it did help small pimples gradually disappear.

Tip

If you apply it while your skin is still damp, it works even better, and even after your skin dries, it still keeps it moisturized.

This was my first time using an essence formula, but my skin didn't feel hot or irritated at all!!! And since cica seems to be just perfect for my skin, when I got some cuts from shaving and had some trouble spots, applying this really helped calm them down quickly.. The effects are great ㅠㅠ

The only downside would be that the price is a bit burdensome ㅠㅠ? Other than that, there's really nothing else I'm unhappy with!!

Skin type - combination, acne-prone, redness Toner type - colorless, fragrance-free First, the suddenly chilly weather made my skin sensitive and a bit stinging, but the toner seemed to help. After using it morning and evening for about a week, the dryness and tightness were almost gone. The hyaluronic acid ingredient seems to deliver moisture well. However, if you have an aversion to the slightly sticky feeling, it may be difficult to use. It doesn't feel sticky once absorbed into the face, but the initial viscosity may be divisive. As someone with acne-prone skin, I'm a bit particular about the skincare products I use. This product contains centella extract and cica ingredients, but it doesn't seem to control oil very well. Especially in the oily areas, I still tend to get breakouts. I think the centella extract just doesn't agree with my skin, causing those symptoms. Also, while it's labeled as a dual-function whitening and anti-aging product, I can't say the effects are outstanding. There are other better products out there for those purposes.

Cons

It's a bit disappointing to see blemishes gradually coming back. If not for that, this toner would have been perfect, especially for the transitional fall season.
