It has a semi-matte finish, and the shade was a perfect match for me since I don't use yellow or pink-based foundations It transfers a lot onto masks and doesn't last very long. When it fades, it doesn't do so gracefully - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinNov 22, 2022
It's incredibly moisturizing and has a lovely scent, which I really liked. As I have a fair complexion, I was looking for a cushion foundation with a light shade. People around me recommended Espoir, so I bought it. The shade 1 Vanilla is indeed very clear and bright! From my perspective, it seems to have a slightly yellowish tint. Also, if you don't pat it in thoroughly, it transfers onto your mask quite a bit. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 28, 2022
This is my first cushion foundation. I was looking for something that wouldn't be too heavy or matte, just enough to cover some redness. I think I made a great choice! The puff is so soft and pleasant to use, I might even buy refills just for the puff... It's a hydrating cushion I'd recommend to beginners. Due to its moisturizing nature, it inevitably leaves marks on your mask. However, you can quickly fix this by gently patting with your fingers. I found that applying thick layers of oily skincare products actually makes it harder for the foundation to adhere. It works better if you focus on deep hydration the night before. Even just applying toner works well for application. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAug 26, 2022
As someone with dry skin, I can confirm it's incredibly moisturizing and applies smoothly, leaving my skin with a radiant glow The downside is that it tends to transfer onto masks. Setting with powder is a must - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 21, 2022
It's moisturizing and doesn't pill. The skin looks beautiful, and it's great when applied in a thin layer. It tends to transfer onto masks easily. If you don't control the amount of skincare products well, it can pill quickly. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinMay 12, 2022
As someone who always comes back to Hera cushions, I was excited to try the Espoir Be Glow Cushion when I received it as a gift. Perfect timing as I was in the mood for something new! Skin Type: I have combination skin that tends to be dry, with occasional blemishes around my menstrual cycle. My skin is sensitive and reactive - it doesn't take much to irritate it. I'm a winter cool tone with overall redness due to high body heat. I have some blemishes and texture near my hairline, lots of peach fuzz, and severe dehydration which can make cushions look patchy. Case: The exterior looks luxurious and glamorous. It's slim, perfect for slipping into a pouch or mini bag. The case itself is a mirror - so pretty and practical! You can even quickly apply lip color without opening it. Puff: The moment I touched the puff, I fell in love! It's bouncy yet firm with just the right tension. I think it's even better than Hera's. It's a soft-touch air puff made with Rubycell fabric. The teardrop shape allows for precise application in tricky areas like under the eyes and around the nose. Color: As a cool winter tone who usually wears shade 21 or Vanilla, I was worried 13-17 might be too light. But it turned out to be my perfect match - a beautiful ivory tone. Adherence: I don't expect dramatic coverage from cushions, especially dewy ones. However, this does a good job covering my redness, blemishes, and texture - I'd say medium-high coverage for a dewy cushion. For major concerns like large pores, acne, or dark circles, you'll need primer or concealer. It's not difficult to apply if you press it in carefully with the puff, but poor application can lead to caking or transfer. The key is building thin layers rather than trying for full coverage in one go. When applied correctly, it gives a clear, radiant finish that looks like your skin but better - a subtle glow rather than an intense shine. So far, I haven't experienced any irritation or significant fading, but I'll update after longer wear tests. Cons: - Can transfer if not carefully pressed into the skin - Contains 4 potentially concerning ingredients - The mirror-like case, while convenient, is a fingerprint magnet Tip: If you're experiencing settling into pores or fading around the nose, try using a small brush like the Hwahae brush to carefully press a small amount into those areas. It can dramatically improve your makeup application. You don't need an expensive brush - Hwahae brushes are quite affordable. Give it a try! - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 6, 2022
The foundation adheres well to the skin, and the top part of the puff is great for applying to the nose bridge and other hard-to-reach areas! It's disappointing that it transfers easily onto masks and doesn't completely conceal pores. To reduce transfer, try removing excess oil with a compact powder or loose powder before putting on your mask! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinApr 21, 2022
I love it! The complexion match is great, and everything about it is above average. I've been using it a lot lately. Even with a setting spray, it still transfers a bit onto my mask. Can't really think of anything else negative about it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 2, 2022
I had high hopes for this product since it's one of Espoir's flagship items, known for its quality and recent improvements. As a 'glow' product, it does feel moisturizing, but it's more of an oily moisture rather than a hydrating one. I prefer products that apply thinly with good adherence and create a beautiful skin finish, even if they lack coverage. This cushion, however, doesn't adhere well, transfers heavily onto masks, and tends to smudge easily. It also seems to disappear quickly due to moisture when wearing a mask for extended periods, resulting in poor longevity. Being a 'glow' cushion, it really falls short in pore coverage. On the bright side, it has a natural, radiant ivory tone without any grayish cast, comes in a pretty case, and gives a beautiful Inner Glow right after application, resulting in a decent skin finish. As I've mentioned above, there are quite a few disappointing aspects. Maybe it's because I had such high expectations, or perhaps it's due to my combination dehydrated skin, but I found this product quite unsatisfactory. I actually prefer the Be Silk Cushion. While it applies thinly, which is nice, the lack of adherence means it transfers easily onto masks, smudges, and wipes off at the slightest touch. Yet, the skin finish isn't beautiful enough to justify these drawbacks. Since I've already bought the refill, I'll have to find a way to make it work somehow. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinOct 25, 2021
1. As someone with dry skin, I loved how moisturizing it was. 2. It creates a beautiful skin finish. 3. The design is gorgeous. 1. It tends to transfer onto masks. 2. Being a hydrating cushion, it lacks a bit in coverage.
