I have yellow undertones, shade 21, deep warm complexion with visible pores and redness. 1. Vanilla This product has been a true lifesaver for me. I first tried it ages ago when it was initially released. Back then, I wasn't impressed - the coverage seemed weak, and it transferred onto my mask. I put it aside, thinking it wasn't up to par. Fast forward to a time when I was on antibiotics for over a month. My skin was reacting poorly to everything I applied (long-term medication use can leave skin parched and lifeless). On a whim, I tried this again, and wow! Its thin, elastic, and hydrating formula made my skin look dewy and beautiful. I was so impressed, I stocked up on 3 compacts plus 3 refills - 6 in total! Recently, I've been under a lot of stress. My sweet Maltese boy, who's been by my side for 19 years, is struggling. He's blind, deaf, and showing signs of dementia (the gentle kind). Every day feels precious, and I'm constantly worried about him. I'm sorry for the tangent... Anyway, my complexion has been looking dull again, with noticeable under-eye circles and lines around my mouth and nose. I dug out my trusty 'savior' product, and once again, it's perfect for my current skin condition. The color is a clean, bright ivory that gives a fresh look. The texture is thin and lightweight, yet has an elastic, adhesive quality. When applying this type of formula, be careful - if your skin is too oily, it might not adhere well, and if it's too dry, it could emphasize pores. So, how should you apply it? The key is in your skincare prep. Personally, I pat my face vigorously during my skincare routine. I use a multi-step toner approach - watery toner, cream toner, essence toner - to create hydration layers. Then I apply a well-absorbing serum, followed by a cream (or not, depending on my skin's needs that day). The important thing is to ensure everything is well-absorbed. When applying the cushion, gently pat the product onto your skin surface, then lightly spread it with a tapping motion. This method beautifully enhances your skin's texture, creates a radiant finish, and effectively covers pores. There are a few products that I initially disliked but grew to appreciate later, and this cushion is definitely one of the most notable examples for me. The formula is thin and hydrating, so if you press too hard with the puff or use too much force, it can leave puff marks on your skin. - bt*******Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedDec 20, 2024
It was nice and easy to use. It covered up redness well, but since I don't have any blemishes, I'm not sure how well it conceals acne. How should I put this... It applies quite thick, which is a bit disappointing. Also, it doesn't really give much of an Inner Glow. - qp********Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRednessRecommendedOct 12, 2024
I've been searching for a hydrating cushion foundation and this one's pretty good! I'd recommend it for those with dry skin. I'm satisfied! The coverage is a bit light, but since I don't have blemishes, it worked fine for me. - ir*********Combination SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 30, 2024
Espoir: a brand you can trust. As someone with perfectly dry skin, this is the only cushion that lasts until evening. It rescued me from being a cushion nomad. Since I started using this cushion, people have been complimenting me on how my complexion has improved! Perhaps because I wear glasses, the foundation tends to break down easily where my glasses sit. If I'm not careful with my makeup application, it sometimes wears off on my cheeks and other areas too. - 55********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 28, 2024
The puff is fantastic! It's so plush that I just want to keep touching it. I didn't experience any blemishes and used it well. If you like a radiant, glowing finish, this might be perfect for you. Overall, it's pretty decent. The coverage isn't particularly great. I don't usually wear sunscreen, so I have some dark spots and freckles, but this doesn't cover them at all. You might need to use it with a concealer. Sometimes it can separate a bit on my nose, but that's rare - maybe it's because I'm not doing my skincare routine properly. I also think there might be some slight darkening of my complexion. - ji****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 20, 2024
This is perfect for winter. It's as hydrating as a toner, so it doesn't flake and there's nothing better for those with fair complexions. Compared to Fmgt, Espoir had better longevity and a cleaner finish without breaking down. It's such a shame it's been discontinued... This was better than the renewed version... So sad! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSebum/BlackheadsDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 5, 2024
I've bought this more than 5 times because it applies so beautifully and I absolutely love it It's such a shame it's been discontinued. I've been trying to find it online, but I guess I'll have to switch to the new version - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 15, 2023
I like it! The brightening moisturizer applies smoothly and provides good coverage. However, I don't have acne-prone skin, so the coverage effectiveness might vary depending on individual skin conditions. Nothing really bad to say. Maybe a slight issue with it settling into pores? Other than that, no complaints. - tj*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedSep 2, 2023
I really enjoyed using this! As someone with dry skin, even semi-matte products usually flake off immediately, but this one stays put until nighttime without separating. The natural oils that come through actually make it look even prettier! I just realized it's been discontinued... I'll have to try the renewed cushion version. - gd******Dry SkinRecommendedJul 8, 2023
The skin looks natural and beautiful. The color adheres perfectly, and it's moisturizing even for dry skin! The application is smooth, making it pleasant to use. The case is also pretty, and the mirror design is an extra bonus. The coverage is disappointing. You have to sacrifice coverage for a natural look. It also seems to fade away rather quickly. I guess it's hard to achieve both a natural finish and long-lasting coverage. For better staying power, make sure to set it with powder, especially around the nose, eyes, chin, and hairline!
