A lovely green/floral scent that's universally appealing. The spray quality is exceptional. It's a great basic fragrance to have in your collection, especially for layering with other green scents. While the initial scent is slightly underwhelming, the longevity is disappointingly poor. Even with the excellent spray quality, it doesn't compensate for the lack of staying power. For layering, you need to apply it at least 10 times, and when used alone, you'll go through the bottle quickly. As a result, you'll use a lot of product. However, since it's often on sale, it might not be a bad idea to stock up. This fragrance layers beautifully with sandalwood or aromatic scents. - ju******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 27, 2023
The joy of pure air captured in The Different Company's gentle classic essence. Compared to other single basil leaf fragrances, it maintains its sweetness while adding The Different Company's signature classic touch with floral and fruity notes to the basil scent. The combination of giant fennel and honey-drenched dandelion creates a vibrant floral blend, evoking an old-fashioned yet stylish herbal aroma. This nuanced scent settles in from the middle notes and lingers all day long, as if it's made itself at home. I expected a crisp, leafy basil scent, but instead it's expressed as a soft fragrance brimming with vintage charm. Initially, you can detect the scent of damp herbs (basil leaf) along with a slightly briny, moist galbanum note. Thanks to the star jasmine, it's richer, fuller-bodied, and smoother. The basil is sweet, while the giant fennel and dandelion have a calming effect, creating a harmonious blend of delicate scents that become creamy and fruity when combined. - te*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 20, 2022
This is it! This is the scent I've been looking for! As someone who doesn't hide their love for herbal fragrances, Tokyo Bloom proved that my expectations were spot on. It's set to become my top favorite perfume. I love how the bottle captures the unique signature of the scent. It's a perfect gift for collectors like me who treasure miniature perfumes. Compared to room diffusers or pure herbal essential oils, this is such a fresh and vibrant fragrance. With notes of fennel, basil, and dandelion - yes, dandelion! I wondered if I'd ever actually smelled a dandelion before, but this perfume seems to capture its modest, simple, and pure essence. While it's more suited for spring and summer, it's truly an all-season fragrance. It might be a bit light for winter, evaporating quickly due to its airy nature - but as a herb scent enthusiast, I'll wear it year-round! It's perfect for carrying in my purse. My friends were curious about the scent, so we all tried it on. With its unisex, neutral aroma, I think this perfume will be a hit with everyone. Not recommended for those who dislike herbal scents or prefer musky fragrances. It has a light, gender-neutral feel. - ki**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 9, 2022
This fragrance is universally appealing, suitable for anyone regardless of gender. The color and scent evoke a refreshing feeling, making it perfect as a summer perfume. Often, summer fragrances can smell like common men's skincare products, but this one strikes a balance between familiar and unique. It's an excellent choice for those venturing into niche perfumes. It's not at all overpowering or intense - from the first spritz, it's light and invigorating. The lingering scent is subtle with a touch of softness. There's a hint of woody notes and a powdery feel, but it's not cloying, which I appreciate. You could describe it as a niche fragrance with a youthful, fresh vibe, combining green notes with diverse floral and woody accents - ideal for the current season. It seems suitable for anyone from late teens to thirties. When I smell this, I imagine a clean white t-shirt, jeans, white sneakers, and a light eco-bag. It would also complement casual everyday outfits like activewear, making it a great choice for a daily summer scent. The one drawback I noticed was its short-lasting power. Despite being an eau de toilette, the word 'cologne' in the product name might explain why it seems to fade quicker than expected, which is a bit disappointing. - ze**********Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 29, 2022
I sampled this fragrance and instantly fell in love with it - it was exactly my style! I knew right away I had to buy it. The scent perfectly matches its light green hue, offering a fresh, verdant aroma. It's like stepping into a lush meadow in early summer. Unlike typical summer fragrances that often lean towards citrus notes, this one captures the essence of dewy grass. The top notes feature basil leaf with a touch of galbanum, which adds a sophisticated twist to the green scent - I absolutely adore it. As the top notes fade, a subtle warmth and sweetness emerge. I'm not a fan of overly sweet scents, but this one leaves just a hint of powdery softness that's quite pleasant. It has a unisex quality that makes it perfect for both men and women during the summer months. The fragrance isn't overpowering or long-lasting, which means even those who don't typically wear perfume might find it appealing. The only slight disappointment is its rather short longevity. However, I suppose that's somewhat inevitable for such a light and refreshing scent.
