It feels similar to the Laneige Cream Skin, but that one always caused breakouts for me. This one doesn't cause any blemishes, which is great. Despite its watery texture, it moisturizes as well as a cream, making it perfect as an all-in-one product. I especially recommend this to those who, like me, find multiple skincare steps tedious. The thin consistency allows for quick absorption without any stickiness, and the hydration lasts for a long time. It also applies smoothly. In this hot and humid weather, applying just this product prevents my skin from feeling deeply dehydrated, which is fantastic. It also seems to smooth out rough skin texture, leaving it feeling soft and refined. It manages to control excess oil without making the skin shiny, giving a fresh feel. This product is effective in repairing a damaged skin barrier and also has a soothing effect on blemishes. However, its moisturizing power might be slightly insufficient if used alone during winter.

I find myself wanting to apply a little more and keep touching the areas where I've applied it, because the smooth, supple feel is so pleasant. Some products take a long time to fully absorb, but this one gets absorbed really quickly, while dramatically improving the texture of my skin. It's very impressive. I have no concerns about it interfering with my makeup in the morning. In fact, the smooth, plump surface helps my cushion foundation apply beautifully. I've been using it for over 5 days now, and haven't experienced any irritation or breakouts. On makeup-free weekends, I've just used the toner pad and this toner alone, and my bare skin is left with a lovely, dewy glow, without any tightness. For someone with combination skin like me, this might be all the hydration I need in the summer. For dry skin types, using it as a toner and adding an essence or ampoule on top would likely be very nourishing. Even for a picky person like me, the refined texture, plus the amazing skin-plumping effect (it balances moisture levels so well) = 99 out of 100! You're right, the slightly higher price point did cost it 1 point in my rating. But for someone who is willing to invest a bit more in their skincare, I think this product is worth the splurge. I plan to continue using this and see the long-term benefits, as the refined texture and skin-plumping effects are quite impressive. It's a purchase I'm happy to make.
