The color payoff is great and it's so moisturizing that I feel comfortable applying it anytime. I really like it! I was a bit disappointed because the scent isn't one that I particularly enjoy. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedMar 5, 2022
The color is beautiful and it applies smoothly. I like that the scent isn't as strong as other products. It fades too quickly, so you need to reapply often. It's frequently out of stock. - ro*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 22, 2020
I got this as a gift with purchase from Chic Pub. Its small size makes it convenient to carry around for touch-ups. It breaks easily with use, but the cherry color is pretty. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 1, 2020
It absorbs so smoothly, which is great! The pretty pink-red shade gives a lovely rosy complexion. It's a bit disappointing that it doesn't last long and fades away quickly. - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedJun 17, 2020
The color is truly beautiful! When applied, it gives your lips a natural, healthy-looking flush. It's really gorgeous. Plus, it glides on smoothly, making it perfect for quick and easy application on the go. The staying power is a bit disappointing. It tends to disappear completely after eating. I suppose that's to be expected with a lip balm, as they're not designed for long-lasting wear. There's also a slight issue with the product settling into lip lines. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 30, 2020
First of all, this was incredibly helpful for someone like me who's just starting out with makeup. Even when applied casually, it looks beautiful! It has a slightly matte finish. Also, the lid tends to get stuck... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJan 21, 2020
Texture: It's moisturizing without being sticky or slippery, which is great. I didn't expect much from the texture of a color balm, but it's surprisingly good! Right after application, it feels a bit damp, but if you wait a moment, it adheres to your lips and becomes plump. Those who've tried it will know what I mean! Color: It does a great job as a lip balm while also nailing the color. It's exactly the cherry shade you'd imagine, and it seems to match my natural lip color best. I feel like the term 'MLBB' (My Lips But Better) was created for Chunky Cherry! It's so natural and pretty that it makes all the other so-called MLBB shades I've used before seem insignificant. Portability: The cap isn't too tight or loose, and the shape isn't angular, so it won't hurt your behind when you carry it around! When you apply it casually, it's not too intense. It's perfect for those days when you can't be bothered with makeup but don't want to look sickly - there's nothing better than this for a bare face look. Longevity: I don't expect it to last through meals, but it does fade if you talk a lot... However, that's okay if you don't talk much! Quantity: I'm not sure if it's because of the formula, but it wears down extremely quickly. I haven't been carrying it around and applying it constantly, but it's already become pointy like a sharpened pencil. But I guess that's fine too, as it could double as a weapon now. The color is so pretty that the drawbacks don't even matter. When I can't give up on my lips with a bare face, I applied just a tiny bit of tint, and wow, this is so beautiful!!!! You should definitely buy it! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedNov 9, 2018
1. The color is beautifully clear. I bought this product because I love transparent colors. The sheer pigmentation makes it great for layering on different areas. 2. Excellent color payoff. I purchased it as a tinted lip balm for quick application on-the-go. My lips are very dry, and regular lipsticks tend to fade quickly and make my lips even drier when reapplied. However, with 2-3 layers, this gives a color intensity similar to a lipstick. 3. Moisturizing. Many tinted lip balms can be a bit drying, despite being called 'balms'. This one, however, strikes a good balance between hydration and color payoff. It seems to fulfill the role of a tinted lip balm perfectly. 1. Limited staying power. This seems unavoidable with tinted lip balms. I've tried L'Occitane's tinted lip balm, which also has good pigmentation, but it wears off just the same. On the bright side, it's easier to reapply than lipsticks, lip glosses, or lip tints, and it doesn't dry out my lips. That's why I often reach for it when I want a subtle makeup look. 2. The ingredients aren't great... I didn't realize it before, but the ingredients aren't very good. I originally gave it four stars, but after checking the ingredients, I reduced it to three. Among the tinted lip balms I've tried, this might have the least favorable formulation. :( (See tip below) The tinted lip balms I've tried include ISOI, L'Occitane, Burt's Bees, and Clinique! 1. Color comparison: ISOI (Pure Red): Clear red Clinique (Chunky Cherry): A clear shade between pink and red L'Occitane (Rose Plum): Deep red, dark red with a slight purple tint Burt's Bees (Hibiscus): Light coral-like? Between red and brown? Slightly warm tone -> Personally, I liked ISOI's color the most! 2. Moisturizing effect ranking: Burt's Bees > Clinique > ISOI > L'Occitane - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 2, 2018
It can be used comfortably for light makeup. The density is easy to adjust, allowing you to apply it in the desired intensity. It is moisturizing. Personally, I like the color. It's not particularly special to be worth the money. The transfer is severe. An item that is always in my makeup bag! Good for reapplying after meals. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMar 2, 2018
The color blends naturally, making it easy to apply lightly over bare skin. It seems to wear off quickly, possibly because I use it often, but other than that, I don't have any particular complaints.
