The texture is like sorbet, and it glides on smoothly, though it feels like it sits slightly on top of the skin. It has a refreshing citrus scent. When using this sorbet-like formula, it initially feels a bit heavy, but as you spread it, it adheres nicely to the skin. Since all my previous products were unscented, the fragrance felt quite noticeable to me. True to its 'glow' name, it definitely gives the skin a dewy appearance after application.
ConsFor me, the feeling of excessive dewiness was quite strong. It seemed to sit on top of the skin rather than being absorbed, making it feel just greasy on the surface. I think it might be too shiny for summer use, and yet it doesn't seem to provide enough deep hydration for winter, so I find it rather ambiguous.
TipIf you apply this product at night and do a simple skincare routine the next morning, your makeup goes on even better!

In autumn and winter, I really feel the dryness. First off, the adorable packaging catches your eye. The texture is like a sherbet that melts like water - a moisturizing serum that's easy to apply. It's a vegan product, which is great. Part of the proceeds goes to support various treatments and sponsorships, including for children in Africa. I love that it's a green-colored cream, not from artificial dyes, but from centella asiatica extract and other soothing ingredients that are great for calming the skin. It's a lightweight cream with good ingredients and high concentrations of skin-soothing components. While it might be too dry for those with very dry skin, people with oily skin will likely be satisfied! For combination dehydrated skin types, satisfaction may vary depending on individual dryness levels.
ConsDue to its light texture, it doesn't fully address deep dryness. When finishing application, I quickly felt dryness on my cheeks with this product alone. It's quite pricey, but that's understandable for a vegan product. Hygiene-wise, it's a bit disappointing that you need to use a spatula to scoop it out. Occasionally, I felt a tingling sensation around my sensitive nose area and nearby cheeks.

It's a pleasure to have them on my vanity, and this one has gorgeous packaging that lifts my mood when I use it. Even the beautiful color of the cream itself deserves praise! Rapid absorption At first glance, you might think it has a slush-like texture due to visible particles, but when you touch it, it's a smooth, fluid cream that spreads easily like an emulsion and absorbs quickly. No irritation, no fragrance When trying new skincare products for the first time, I often experience redness, itching, or stinging - even with supposedly gentle formulas. However, the Glow Up Cream was truly non-irritating and gentle on my skin.
ConsToo light for dry skin I hoped it would address my deep dryness, but even after applying toner and emulsion, it feels very lightweight. I needed to layer a richer cream on top. <This cream is more suitable for oily or combination skin types.> Pills like dead skin When I try to add another layer for extra hydration, it pills and creates flakes that look like dead skin. This happened even after exfoliating, so it seems to be a characteristic of the formula. <This won't be an issue for those who find one layer provides sufficient moisture.>
TipWhile it's not a perfect match for me, I'm grateful to Hwahae and To Be Gan for the opportunity to try it. I used it consistently morning and evening after cleansing throughout the trial period. With its fluid texture and quick absorption, I think it could work well as an emulsion-like step for those with super dry skin like mine.
