I was on the hunt for a decent mildly alkaline cleanser for my evening routine when I came across a sample offer, so I decided to give it a try. First off, the scent is reminiscent of pine needles. It's not off-putting, but there's definitely a noticeable fragrance. A little goes a long way in terms of lather. The cleansing effectiveness seems quite good. It leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean without any residue. So far, I haven't experienced any deep dryness after cleansing, though that might be due to the summer weather. I'd say it's effective enough to remove even light sunscreen. No irritation or blemishes to report. After trying a few more mildly alkaline products, I'm considering making this my go-to cleanser. While I don't have any complaints about the product itself, it might not be suitable for those who prefer fragrance-free skincare. - hw********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 25, 2025
Personally, I'm a fan of the pine scent used across the entire Cha Bio line. The cleansing foam also has this pine fragrance, which is quite noticeable. Those who dislike fragrances should keep this in mind. The finish leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed. As someone with oily, acne-prone skin, I prefer this over Senka because it's less drying. However, my husband, who has dry skin, finds it a bit too drying for him. The Cha Bio pine line often goes on sale, making it a good value for the price. There's not much to complain about. It doesn't cause any blemishes, and overall, I'm satisfied with this product. - pr*****Normal SkinRecommendedMay 1, 2025
It absorbs well and feels gentle on the skin. It provides great hydration without leaving a greasy feeling. There's nothing particularly bad about it, except maybe it's a bit pricey... That's really the only drawback I can think of. - je*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 13, 2025
I had trouble finding a foam cleanser that suited my face perfectly, but this product is just right for me! So far, I haven't found anything disappointing about using this product. - db*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 8, 2025
I tried a sample first because I've had bad experiences with foam cleansers. This one is incredibly gentle and cleanses really well. After using it for about a week, my blemishes haven't completely disappeared, but I'm satisfied that no new ones are appearing. I love that it's mild and doesn't leave my skin feeling tight after washing. At first, I used too much without realizing, and I was surprised by how much it lathered up! - an*******Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 27, 2025
I tried it as a sample first, and it effectively removed both sunscreen and excess sebum. The scent isn't great, and I thought it might be better if it were a bit less thick. No complaints. I plan to keep using it. Good stuff! - kh******Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedSep 7, 2024
It washes away skin oils more effectively than typical cleansing foams. It feels a bit drying, and might not be suitable for those with super sensitive skin. - rx*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 19, 2024
After my skin became problematic post-COVID, suddenly developing seborrheic dermatitis... low pH products didn't suit me at all. I was searching for something and tried this because of the good reviews. The foam is so rich and lathers up amazingly well. It's incredible when used with a foam maker. I'm extremely satisfied and enjoying using it so much! Well, there's nothing really, but if I had to pick something, it would be nice if they offered small sample sizes, like for travel kits. - je******Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 18, 2024
After cleansing, my skin didn't feel tight, and it effectively removed makeup and sunscreen. I first tried a sample and used it while traveling. Even a small amount produced rich lather, enough for my husband and me to share one sample. I'm not sure if it's because of the pine scent, but I would have preferred it to be fragrance-free. The scent was a bit difficult to get used to. I usually do double cleansing, first using a cleansing oil to dissolve makeup and sunscreen, then following with a foam cleanser. While I don't have any specific tips, I found that even a small amount created a rich lather all over my face, providing a deep cleanse, which I really liked. - ww****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJul 30, 2024
The cica ingredients seem to have really helped improve my blemishes! The only downside is... well, the amount is so small that it runs out too quickly.
